Just curious, when you were denied entry, did they permit you to withdraw your application as well? How were you treated that time? They ask you nicely to go back and did not stamp anything on your passport?

I had a code on the back of my passport say "WD - Application of Admission withdrawn"

Thank you for your reply. So does it mean, I or my fiance will not have to file waiver for inadmissibility?

Hi everyone,

I recently used B1/B2 tourist visa to enter USA to go get married to a US citizen. I was naive and did not think much about I had to get a K1 visa in order to get in. The officer told me that I was inadmissible and they allowed me to Withdraw my application and they revoked my 10 year tourist visa. And I was sent back on the next flight to my home country, Thailand. I had to take sworn statement and oath and signed bunch of papers that the officer told me it was about voluntarily withdraw the application. I was never given a copy of any documents.

On the visa, it wrote "Revoked", "22CFR41.122(h)3" My fiance is now about to start application for my K1 visa.

Please help answer me if...

1. Will this incident stop me from getting a K1 visa?

2. Do I have to go through a Waiver of Inadmissibility?
