  1. Does your Wife know? This may cause serious marital issues eventually.

I would seriously have issues if my Spouse has this opinion of my adopted country.

    Good luck on your journey.

I can promise you that she does and sure of it. She hates Egypt too and i respect that. I wont change her feeling but in the end. What we think about each other is what matters not the land or people. We are more mature than that

  2. Not really. you've had an account for 3 years and this seems to be the first time yer writing about possibility of denial at the IV Unit in Cairo.

Surely you've seen the MENA forum, aye?

But, you've been down this road before, yes? http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=421673&view=findpost&p=6086363

I really never got denied before. I have an interview soon and i was wondering if that happens. You sure asmed and acted like a detector but sorry to disappoint you. Yes i have had this account for three years. It doesn't mean that i been on the site for three years. You missed the fact that am just a junior and that means i didn't have many activities.

  3. What does a visa denial under INA section 221(g) mean?

A visa denial under section 221(g) of the INA means that the consular officer did not have all of the information required to determine if you are eligible to receive a visa. This means you are not eligible for the visa now, but your case is pending further action for one of the following reasons:

Your application is incomplete and/or further documentation is required - Applicants whose application forms or other documentation are incomplete are refused. If further documents are required to complete your case, you will be informed what is needed and how to provide it to the embassy or consulate. You will also be given a letter stating your application has been denied under 221(g) and listing which documents you need to provide.

Administrative processing - Further administrative processing of your application is required before a decision can be made regarding your eligibility for a visa. You will be given a letter stating this and next-step instructions after the administrative processing is complete.

Is there something I can do about a refusal under section 221(g)?

If your application was denied because documentation or information is missing, you can provide the missing documents or information as soon as possible. After submitting the documentation, your visa application can then be processed to conclusion to determine whether you qualify for a visa. You have one year from the date you were refused a visa to submit the additional information. Otherwise, if you do not provide the required additional information within one year, you must reapply for the visa and pay another application fee.

If your application requires further administrative processing, this takes additional time after your interview. Processing times can vary based on individual circumstances. For more information, review Administrative Processing.

  4. (g) No visa or other documentation shall be issued to an alien if (1) it appears to the consular officer, from statements in the application, or in the papers submitted therewith, that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law, (2) the application fails to comply with the provisions of this Act, or the regulations issued thereunder, or (3) the consular officer knows or has reason to believe that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law: Provided, That a visa or other documentation may be issued to an alien who is within the purview of section 212(a)(4), if such alien is otherwise entitled to receive a visa or other documentation, upon receipt of notice by the consular officer from the Attorney General of the giving of a bond or undertaking providing indemnity as in the case of aliens admitted under section 213: Provided further, That a visa may be issued to an alien defined in section 101(a)(15)(B) or (F), if such alien is otherwise entitled to receive a visa, upon receipt of a notice by the consular officer from the Attorney General of the giving of a bond with sufficient surety in such sum and containing such conditions as the consular officer shall prescribe, to insure that at the expiration of the time for which such alien has been admitted by the Attorney General, as provided in section 214(a), or upon failure to maintain the status under which he was admitted, or to maintain any status subsequently acquired under section 248 of the Act, such alien will depart from the United States.

Thats the reason why he was denied.

  5. helpsmilie.gifcrying.gifcray5ol.gifshocked.gif My fiance went this morning and did everything through fingerprinting. Then he was called to number 17. First let me tell you, my fiance is 12 years younger than me and this is not my first 129F application. Back to 2008 I filed for a sucker (excuse my french) then he came in March 2009, he took off after getting his 2 years green card. I sent a certified letter to CSC that approved the AOS and one to VSC which is my jurisdiction and one to my local office (Boston). I even went to Boston office twice to let them know that I don't know his whereabouts and the copy of my divorce filing. I met my fiance now, we are so much in love. We went in Dominican Republic for the first time 10/06/11 and went again 05/15/12. That same day I arrived at the hotel, I received a call from my sister in Boston, that my mom passed away with heart condition. I couldn't find a flight back on AxA to Boston right away, I bought another ticket through Jetblue to proceed with mom's funeral arrangements. I filed for my fiance on 07/10/12 which I thought the process will go faster and VSC took forever. I thought of traveling to Haiti but I said what about if NOA2 showed up...all these crazy thinking.

To get back to the interview process today, those are the questions:

    1. Who's sending for you? My fiancee so and so

    2. How did you guys meet? Social network...

    3. How many times that you saw your fiancee? 2 times in Dominican republic October 06, 2011 and May 05/15/12, we stayed at this hotel..... The CO said I see

    4. She didn't come to see you in Haiti? No, because we chose to go exploring somewhere else(DR)

    5. Have you met her family? Yes, I met her brother (first and last name) who came to Haiti in July 2012

    6. Did you know that your fiancee was married twice before? Yes, and she got divorced

    7. So what happened to the second marriage? The guy took off and she never know his wherabouts then she got divorced

Then the CO said "Ok Mr X(my fiance), you are not qualified, this not the end of the world. You can still get married.

I feel that this is very insulting. Does Immigration can tell me how many times to get married? Does Immigration can tell me "Hold a gun on your fiance's head to stay with you? Does Immigration can tell me or my fiance "Marry someone your own age? Does Immigration can tell you to look for someone in the states and make sure that someone has a green card?

I only filed I-129F once and the relationship went bad. I worked in my job for 23 years, I paid taxes and never been in jail or either been accused for domestic violence. Never, Never, Never so I leave any comments or suggestions from you VJers for me what's the next steps...Thank you and I am very Saddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd.

Should I go to Haiti and get married? but my fiance said to me" Baby, I am afraid if we go the I-130 process, will they look at it the same way. He said again "Baby I swear that I answered everything, all questions" He added "I feel bad that outsiders look at Haiti as a poor country that people might use other people to enter the USA but one thing, the CO deny the real lovers" That breaks my heart and my fiance said to me "What about if you come to leave with me because I know in my mind, there was no such thing and I want to prove them that Denying us can't break our relationship.

Okie. Answer me really fast. Your fiancee received a paper trlling him the denial reason and the law number. It usualy starts with 21. Could you please give me the number. Is it 212 or 214 or 221. What is it exactly?

  6. Okie. What you need to do firstly is to stay strong then start organizing everything and sorting out facts. I will try from my end

They will be looking at these

1-you been married twice and you husband has no problem

2-you applied for the same tupe of visa before and you n you ex husband got divorced so she will be yhinking your getting paied for that

    3-age difference

4- you never been to haiti

5-poor country AS THEY SEE IT

6- you didn't stay together for ao long

7- i think you didn't meet his family

8-how long did you know him before applying? Do you have a strong proof of that or not? If not for a long time then that looks bad

9- you need to know that they denied you as a TEST to check if its a real relationship of not and she was clearing his options for him when she told him to marry someone else so if it wasn't a real relationship he wouldn't waste his time and do so.

10- CO's studies psychology and they analyze everything very very well.

11- put your self i. The CO officers place and look at the proofs he/she had from you and failu judge your self to see if she should beleive you or not

12- be very organized and proof full.

If you have any more questions. Don't hesitate and don't forget. Thats just a test.

  7. My AOS was denied because the embassy believed my income was not stable. It was easier to get a joint sponsor than to argue the point.

    You can check here http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/13poverty.cfm

But here is an easy way to see the 125% (not for Alaska and Hawaii) http://www.masslegalhelp.org/court/125percent-federal-poverty-guidelines-article

Ohhh thanks. Let me go check the documents my wife gave me

  8. Yes. Many times.

Maybe didn't answer a question or didn't support the docs they need

Many different reasons. Try searching the forum. My hubby was denied because the embassy rejected my Affidavit of Support, even though it met the requirements. We got a joint sponsor and when he brought the new papers to the embassy they approved him and gave him his visa.

O.o. Also you were above the poverty lines. Why then and how do i check that?

  9. Yes, plenty of them. Like, many many. On this site alone.

    You know why?

Yes, plenty of them. Like, many many. On this site alone.

Yes I have heard of people denied at a CR-1 interview. They have posted on these very forums before.

I have also heard of someone who passed the CR-1 interview and then was denied entry and his visa canceled.

But there must be a reason. Or the country they living in?

  10. Hello Every one.

I have had stress and i think anxiety that was really bothering me so bad, I have been self studying psychology, researching and learning about too many things related to that matter and since i found a simple solution for that and it worked for, I decided to share it with you because i know how bad some people are trying to be stress free, I'm not one of these sites that tell you hey we were stressed like you and so on so they would manipulate you into believing them then they ask you to pay money and btw i found in their introduction video TERRIBLE mistakes that could effect you so bad, I'm not going to waste so much of you time and i will get to the point.

As we all know, Human minds are very strong..its the fastest computer in the world...and i have been wondering how couldn't that awesome organ get a rid of some stress ETC, when some people could get a rid of cancer with the BELIEF that they will which made their mind produce some chemicals and made their immunity stronger and recovered.

Before i answer that (The solution). Let me tell you something about stress or anxiety and these psychological related issues. Sometimes OUR brains just does't produce ENOUGH hormones or chemicals like that psychiatric said and Sometimes we fear stuff that are normal or we have phobia and Some other times we don't have either but we still have anxiety. So before anything..Am not a doctor or a psychologist so what am saying here is a personal word and experience and there is no medicine that you need to take.

So the Question here is ..WHY can't we beat STRESS also its a Mind or Brain thing ?

The answer here is we don't use our minds the same way when it comes down to anxiety. You could use belief or hope when you need to fight some other organs disease So we need to use our minds in a different way which is very simple and normal but we were thinking so hard.

When we get panic attacks we just freak out and we don't really think then..Meds makes you calm n so on but it just controls you for some then it stays with you for a while if your strong enough and if you aren't ..anxiety comes back to you..

Psychologist says...just stay calm n think i always have this n ETC. but am sorry psychologist ..that doesn't work with everyone and not everyone can cope with it the same way..sometimes people just FREAK OUT.

Well panicking is normal and its an instinct thing that you get when you feel danger but since its being OVER ACTING with us :) we need to control it.so you need to do this.

1- Get a pen and piece of paper.

2-Soon after your panic attack or that freaking feeling is gone start writing down how you felt in the situation such as ( Cold hands or feet- Fast heart rate-Chocking...ETC) Just write it all down.

3- Don't miss a single feeling to write down EVERY SINGLE TIME.

4- Some exact situations makes you panic..WRITE down the situation it self..It doesn't have to be detailed...You can just put there..When am in the train..When am in a crowded bus..and so on.

5-wait until you feel like you wrote every situation and feeling down.

6-Start reading all these situations over and over till you feel like you memorized it all.

7- Start asking your self why my hands being cold freak me out..n so on..Till some of these feelings will be gone with out effort because you taught your mind and convinced your self that this wouldn't hurt or harm you.

8- Now you memorized every single situation and feeling...Soon as you have a panic attack you will remember what you have written right away and how it felt like exactly ..you could read it from the diary you were writing in and if you really memorized it good...you will just remember it right away...the secret here is that you remember everything so when you panic you remember it right away...

9- The first panic attack will be gone in less time because you will be thinking..i know all these feelings and its just a panic attack...every single time...the duration will be less...

10- The previous point was to teach your mind that ALL these FEELINGS shouldn't panic you unless its real feeling or threat...Like REAL PAIN..REAL BURNING..REAL CHOKING..not the fake feeling ones.

After that ..your mind will be LEARNED not to ever be scared of these any more and then please when you feel way better just pray for me and wish me the best in life. Btw..I have some healthy tips on my site for girls if you want to read some.(deleted)

Thanks for reading and i wish you the best guys and if you have any questions please don't hesitate and am SORRY in advance if i had grammar mistakes ..Am Egyptian lol

that is very interesting and good advice .... thank you for posting!!

  11. You can, but you may not want to- you could be in a stuffy, loud waitingroom for many hours. You will be nervous and stressed as it is, having the child there will likely stress you more, and it won't be a bonus for the interview. make it more likely you get the visa.

I dont really understand what you mean. You said it won't be a bonus and you also said it would make it more likely to get the visa. I dont understand if you are saying it will help or hurt me. But I am asking because I may not have anyone to watch my son while I am at the interview, so I am asking if I can take him with me if I can not find anyone to watch him.

  12. hi,

I'm the beneficary today i tried from Morocco to call NVC and just keep getting a busy signal

    i d'ont know if the format i press: (001) 603 334 0700 is correct or not?

Has anyone else been having problems calling the NVC number today?

You remind me of the first time calling NVC..Its funny :)...Obviously NVC doesn't have money to make an IVR for waiting on their phone so they give you busy tone and you have to keep calling over n over till you get lucky and you get a ring..Good luck :)
