  1. Thanks for the replies. I guess I will print a new form and write the address in. Hope that will work. My other worry is that I used a continuation sheet for my fiancee's addresses for the past five years on her G325-A also. Wonder if I should have her fill a new one out and send it to me which will prolong the start of the process. Anyway, thanks for the input.

  2. Hi all.

I sent what I thought was a complete I-129F package to the Texas lockbox address on August 27 via UPS second day air. I received the package back today with a rejection notice. The rejection notice states that the Part B address is not completed. This is true since the address will not fit in the space provided. Instead I wrote “See Continuation Sheet” in the space provided on the I-129F and included a document titled “Continuation Sheet” with my application which contained the address. I did sign and date the continuation sheet and stated it was submitted in conjunction with my I-129F. I did re-read the I-129F instructions which clearly state that if additional space is required a continuation sheet can be used. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any advice on how to correct the problem? Is this just an oversight by the person reviewing the application? Thanks in advance for your help>

  3. Once again I would like to thank everyone who has responded. My fiancee has no criminal record or illegal immigration activity and has never even been to the US. She does not use drugs and has no kids. After reading these responses and other posts here we have decided not to use an attorney. The process seems pretty straight forward to me and there is a huge amount of useful information here and many people truely interested in helping. Thanks again for all the input. God bless you all.

  4. Hello all,

I am new here. I have recently become engaged to my fiancée who is a Honduran citizen living in Honduras so I began investigating the K-1 visa process. This site has been very helpful and I really appreciate all those who take the time to post and respond to posts. My first question is, should I hire an attorney to help with the process? It is not clear to me whether most people here are using attorneys or going it alone, so I guess I am very interested in all the stories, the good, the bad, and the ugly, from whoever is willing to share. I would be very interested in names of attorneys in case I go that route. Once I make the decision about an attorney, I am sure I will have other questions. I will keep everyone posted on my progress. And I do appreciate all the help.

    Thanks,

    K.
