thanks everyone.. we plan on getting married before i leave to make things a bit easier for us financially and make the filing easier for me . where can i get these forms? ive been in the philippines for a little over 4 years. i went to school here. but am heading home this september so i really doubt that he can come home with me, but i wish he could. if i knew all this info a loooong time ago,we would have gotten married earlier. thanks again.

No money no petition??

I am a 22 year old female from Virginia USA. i met my fiance in the philippines 2005, and weve been together for 5 years. we have a 2 year old daughter. I went to school in the philippines, met a great guy, had a daughter now need to head home The problem is, i have no income yet. once arriving i will get a job, more or so, Nursing assistant until i pass my NCLEX to be a registered nurse. I want to petition my fiance.. but how..? Now my question is are Co sponsors allowed for K1 visas? Or should him and I get married so that i can use a co sponsor in a spouse visa. (my mother and father are willing to co sponsor) but the question is will the uscis understand?, any one else in my situation?

wow i am in the same situation i am a fresh graduate have no work experience, i am the american citizen and my fiance is Filipino. I read that a co sponsor doesnt work well with fiance visas. since ive already said i am a fresh graduate, i have no income tax returns to show( i went to school in the philippines and am moving back this month)... what is the best route for me? can i get a job then file, or do i need to have income tax returns? any advice. thanks

here is my situation:

i am a 22 year old filipina, but was born and raised in the U.S. Went on vacation at 17 & met a great guy so decided to go to school in the Philippines to be with him. We've been together for 5 years and now have a 1 year old daughter. I finally graduated so I'm heading back to Virginia with our daughter. Rodel & I are not married because we decided that I graduate first. My question is, is there any way I can file the petition while I am still in the Philippines? & is it advisable to use a service? Pls help me, my daughter and I will really miss him. I'm just really looking for the best route. Thanks
