Hello Experts,

I recently received Combo card (EAD/AP)from family based petition filed by my brother.

I cannot get green card unless the priority date become current ( actually it went back couple of years during my application process).

On the other side I have valid H1B and I-140 is approved from company base immigration petition. Now my company is going to apply for my H1B extension.

Is that legal to get H1-B extension for next three years (to be on safe side) in parallel with family based COMBO card ? just want to make sure it will not hurt my pending family based I-485 application or my status & work history here in US.

Please advice.

Wow Congratulation ! You really lucky, your case is moving really fast. With in two months you are at FB stage. Do you have idea what will be the next step after finger printing?

Me still waiting for invoice... hopefully will get soon. But I know as a matter of fact it really depend upon case to case.

I am still waiting for initial notice. As per my lawyer he already called uscis and hopefully will get notice in next couple of weeks.

So lets see, I have no option other then just wait.

I am in the same situation. My attorney applied my case in the start of September but so far no receipt number and checks are not cashed yet.

As per USCIS if application is filled more then 30 days then they can help to figure out the status or can tell the receipt number.

I called USCIS and lady there asked me about the exact date when application was filled but honestly I don't know that. Now I have to get exact application filling date from lawyer.

Pls let me know if you received receipt number yet? or any progress.

Try Meridian Medical Group in SJ. They were very nice to work with and inexpensive.

Does anybody had any experience with Dr. Yingchih Jackson Lin ( from Santa Clara Family Practice ) located in Sunnyvale ?

Infact I called them and found that they are going to charge $195 for everything physical checkup/blood work/vaccinations ( i don't need to have all vaccinations).

Actually I am just new on this forum and was reading this thread.

Might be you guys can assist me, I live in Santa Clara and have to choose civil surgeon for Medical exam/ vaccinations for AOS.

Please advice me with your experience, the best place with reasonable $$$.
