Do I need new phone, skype, email logs?
Take everything you can as far as phone records, e-mails chats that he does not already have the more the better (or at least that is what I have heard from the Ghana embassy cases).

congrats to you both! Please update your timeline so others coming behind you can see and learn from your case. Hope to hear from you now that things are settled. God never fails!

Good to hear there is some movement... I am preparing to send in my I-130... I am so scared I will miss something I don't want any delays it already taked long enough as it is. Been denied for the K-1 already so don't want to mess up with the spouse visa process! I miss him so much I wish I could go there and be with him until we can get an interview but that is not possible. I love my husband more than anything and just need to be with him forever this time! And yes we all need hope during the holidays as they are suppose to be spent with the ones we love. Praying for much speed four all spouses in this process!

Yes I am curious also for the reason they gave for denial... My now husbands (at the time was fiance) visa was denied in March and I want to make sure I do not make any mistakes on his visa as my husband! We all need all the help we can get. Our denial reason was not enough proof of ongoing relationship (guess I underestimated what they would need) I then later found this website and now know a little more so I am hoping things go better this time around!

Oh really? Well,I emailed them yesterday and I'm hoping they reply me soon,I still wanna try my luck and go to the Embassy tomorrow wednesday with the previous Call in letter. Its dated may 18th 2009,even though it was for my k1. This time I'm going for cr1.so I'm just praying they allow me in.
New to this immigration stuff... what is the difference between the K1 and the CR1? i am having to refile for my husband as he was denied, as my fiance, we have since married and are going for a spousal visa instead of the fiance visa... But I keep reading about CR1 visas???

Same happened to me Mar 2010. I am now married to the love of my life (just got back from Ghana) and am in the process of refiling a spousal visa. Good luck on your journey!

My fiance (now husband) was denied under 221(g) @ US embassy in Accra, Ghana and I have contacted the senator's office here in WA. They have not been able to help me the first letter I received acknowlging they received my request was dated June 17, 2010. She or her people have not given me any info other than what I already know from the letters which is still clear as mud. I am now married to my Daniel as of Oct 5, 2010 and am in the process of finding out why it was denied in the first place so we can refile and have the necessary proof etc. The letter I received stated that the time had expired and we would need to refile and that the case had been sent back to the NVC.
Any advise for me?

My fiance's paperwork was recieved April 07, 2009 by USCIS. He had a first interview Dec 24, 2009. He was asked to bring more proof of relationship, even though he had receipts for wedding rings, wedding dress and many picturs and letters from my family to him. So I sent more proof but the copies of chats were not accepted as I could not get them to print complete with yahoo messenger header so they thought they were fraudulent. His 2nd interview was Mar 11, 2010 at which he was denied no reason was given so we waited for the denial paperwork to get back to my attorney to find out the reason. only to find out there was no reason on the denial notice just that the visa was denied and we will need to re-file as the paperwork has expired! I contacted my senator to contact the consulate to find out the reason for the denial so that we can fix whatever it was that was wrong if fixable, I was told by the senators immigration person that the paperwork could take 120 days to hear back from the consulate. I am going back to Ghana to marry my fiance so that we can file a spousal visa rather than re-filing a fiance visa and getting another denial.
My advice send more than you could ever imagine they would want in proof of relationship! We thought we had it all plus more but obviously it was not enough. and for those in Ghana do not open the mail until you get to the embassy as they will assume it is fraudulent. My fiance was asked why he had opened the package I sent and told he should not have opened it... which I feel is crazy as there were cards for valentines day and a letter form my sister, nephew and mother in the package for him. I realize there is alot of fraud there in Ghana but we are serious about this. We love each other and only want to spend the rest of our lives together. I will prepare to move there if we are denied again. I will be with the love of my life and no one can keep me from him! This is true love and I will fight to the end to be with him... whether that is here or there!
