some places - yes, that's true.
also true, is that GUANGZHOU IV (where you have an interview) DOES allow co-sponsers and joint-sponsers for the I-134.
I-134 for YOU and I-134 for Joint-Sponser (that's 2 I-134 documents) are
submitted on interview day, in Guangzhou.
NEVER prior.
ok thanks so much. was worried that i already made a mistake

I'm a little confused with estimates and timelines in regards to NOA1 and NOA2. My NOA1 was July 12. My estimate approval here on VJ was Sept. 20. It then increased by a few days, then a week or more then again to Oct. 20. The next time I looked, an estimate could not even be formulated due to the lack of recent approval/information.
Now the VJ historical data states " NOA1 files roughly 69 days ago(July 04) are now being processed. Sounds great to me, we are July 12th. However, that don't really Jive with the member timelines here. Basically no June CSC filers have their NOA2.
Also the NOA1 to NOA2 processing times list VSC at 75 days and CSC 69 days. From our members timelines that clearly is whats happening.
All info as of Sept. 12th. I know the graphs aren't concrete. So am I missing something?

One more thing - in terms of deciding whether a co-sponsor is needed, for the I-134 you have to show that you make 100% of the poverty level for your intended household size (ie if it's just you and your soon-to-be spouse, I think it's around 18,500/year). If you can prove you earn more than that you shouldn't need a sponsor. If you are relying on assets to qualify, you'll have to show proof.
You can go to USCIS.gov to print off the I-134 and review the filing instructions to determine what you need to include. As I said, they don't look at this til the interview so you'll have to prepare it ahead of time. As for the documentation packet 3 asks for, you take that to the interview as well (don't mail it - the only thing you send is a fax stating you have the required documents (basically the packet 3 checklist dated, checked and signed) and the DS230-I if memory serves me).
Here's a link to the packet 3 on VANCOUVER Consulate's website...Again, Montreal MAY have a slightly different version.

i thought it was 150%

so I am a college student still rather young (21). we got the noa1 about a month and 1/2 ago and know that when i get the noa2 i will then have to show how much money i make and my assets. I know that mine are too low so my parents are willing to sponsor us. so I am a bit lost. do i need to send them a copy of the I134 and we both fill one out? also will my age affect anything on them deciding if she can come over here.
I have been reading around on other sites and have heard of stories of them being rather strict especailly during the interview things like msn converstaions not being deep enough so they got turned down.
thanks again for all your guys' help

smells like the 'last thing' in,
was the corrected I-797-C.
With 'that receipt #' -
you can look it up online with the USCIS web portal 'status system'.
Have a look there, see if it all resembles an I-129F, yes?
yes it it didnt change still says case type I-129f. should i call or something?

so my NoA1 took longer then expected so i called asking and they told me it was sent and that the name was different then the name i gave them to look it up. so they said they would fix the mistake. the next day i got the NoA1 notification. then 3 weeks later i got a notice saying sorry for the mistake. and saying the case type was I-129f but down at the bottom they wrote sorry for the mistake the error on your I-130 receipt notice has been fixed. but i didnt fill out the I-130 form i filled out he I-129f form. i looked it up and the I-130 is for family members to come here. then 2 weeks later the sent me the I-797c saying that the notification of action for your I-129f.so is this just a NOA that they got the fixed version or are they doing 2 different cases for me.
thanks for your guys help.

So i have read other posts and seen the average time it takes for the Noa1. the most ive seen it taking is like 2 weeks. i sent the paper work on July 2 it was recieved on july 6th. it is july 28th and i have yet to hear from them. i called california service center today. since i dont have a reciet number yet i cant check the statues. they told me that it takes 30 days and that who ever told you about 2 weeks was wrong. does anyone know if its just taking longer then normal recently or if i should worry.
thanks for your time
