  1. Hey everyone! i just received this email....."We are pleased to inform you that a fiancée (K1) nonimmigrant visa was issued to you today, December 7, 2011. The visa packet will be delivered to your designated address by guaranteed courier service." yipppeeee!!.

Good to know that you finally talked to a real human and not answering machine lol. Hubby said he also just called the contact # they have on their website.

Haha yaa, thanks :) my fiancee is name jovi also

  2. the very first time i called i got a man picked that line and told me that it's in the CO's desk for review.now i've been trying to call back but it'll become busy whenever it goes with the ext 5184..i am frustrated too but i think they are too busy

Finally i got a human answering the phone. My fiancee is still in the hand of the officer reviewing the case, and i was instructed to follow up again next week. I'm really hoping by next week its release by then.

  3. Sorry. Did not mean to worry you. Just throwing in my experience. I am going to the Philippines tomorrow for a week and the plan was for us to fly back together. I figured 2 months would have been plenty of time to have this wrapped up. Guess I was wrong. I'm going to try to reschedule hers for a later date :(

Have a safe trip, hopefully she'll have her visa by then and you 2 can fly back together as planned =).

  4. Took a month for us before I recieved my visa... My husband called the embassy, and told him there is no problem with our documents, they said they just waiting of some verification at NSO and not to worry. :)

Hi John&Juvy!, i have tried to call 301-2000 but i keep getting an answering machine. What number did your Husband called if you dont mind?

Have you tried calling Manila USEM?

For inquiries on a specific case, please call the Immigrant Visa (IV) inquiry line at (632) 301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185 during normal business hours.

I have tried this number several times, i cant get a live person on the line just a answering machine, or is it just suppose to be a answering machine??

  5. I can relate to this.we're on the same boat.I've submitted my nbi with aka and cenomar too last nov 14 but still there's no reply. they might as well so busy..

Have you called or mail them?

Hi sweetnovember, I have tried to call 301-2000 but i am only getting answering machine, what email address did you email? i only tried ivmanilareplies@state.gov but i'm not getting any replies.

  6. hello everyone, our visa was approve yesterday!! yipppeeey. she just have to submit another NBI clearance due to mispelled name on her BC which was already fix. Thank you everyone who contributed time answering my questions and especially to this website which helped me a lot.

  7. my fiancee interview is this 29. whew finally! but i am so worried about the I-134 i only submitted

    my i-134

    -employment letter

    -(3)pay stubs

    -I-134

-letter of explanation why i cannot provide an income tax.( i was in the philippines going to school 2005-2010)

    my mom who will co-sponsor

    -my mom i-134

    -employment letter from 2 jobs

-(3)pay stubs each from 2 jobs

    -2010 tax return

    -2010 w2

    -photocopy of passport

the thing has me worrying is that i am below 125% poverty guideline, i will be only making 17,628 gross income annually. Has anyone experience the same problem i am facing and gotten an approve visa in manila embassy? i would surely love to hear from you guys! thanks.

  8. hello everyone!!

i just found out today that my son's sputum smear last september are all positive. :crying: they can't tell yet though if its TB or not. but the nurses at the D.O.T room said that it's a RARE case because he had clear chest x ray but have 3 smears positive. plus she said that its the first time they encountered this kind of case on a kid. now im not sure if i should go to my interview tomorrow since my son might be undergoing 6-months treatment.

can somebody please enlighten me what these 3 positive smear means? i am still in denial that my son is sick since he doesn't have cough nor losing weight. he also eats alot and never loses appetite :(

    thank you!

what i know if the test is for the specific virus mycobacterium tuberculosis then yes your child has contracted the virus, maybe the reason for having a clear x ray is because the virus has not cause that much damage to show on the xray. It's best to protect yourself also if he is indeed positive until treatment for tb has started.

  9. hi everyone i was going through what to send my fiancee. I read in the guide that "1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one)." do i have to provide pictures again? someone had deleted my copies on the computer, is this copy just for my fiancee to read through? thank you again everyone for your advise.

  10. The appointment letter is if you pre-register online with St. Luke's, here is the link: http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/index.php

You have the option to do it online and print 2 copies or fill it up in the clinic when you get there.. This will save you time though if you fill-up and print.

    Goodluck to your journey!

AHHhh! so thats the one thats been frustrating me a few hours ago lol.. thank you so much for the quick reply sir!
