    A friend/co-worker was getting married to a local in Dec ’09.
    I decided to attend because I was in need of a vacation.
    I wasn’t dating at the time because of a lot of travel for work.
    I met Akeel at a beach party and wasn’t really interested because I was sorting already hanging with a friend of my co-workers husband.
    Needless to say it didn’t workout. A few days later we went to a ‘Nite nite’ and what a small world Akeel knew the person as well that pasted away.
    The night ended and we didn’t exchange numbers.
    New Years Eve rolls around and once again there was Akeel at the same place we were at.
    After that night of hanging out and talking I really go to know him and its just fate.
    We have talked every day since then! I feel as if I learn from him and he learns from me.
    I have always been the type of person that didn’t believe in falling in love so fast and acting on it. (Especially someone outside of the States)
    I can’t wait until he is by my side in the Cali.

    Been tracking the DHL number for the visa... Its been 'on hold' per the dhl site since Nov 1st. Called DHL in the US and they do not know. Called DHL in JA and they do not pick up the phone. Not sure if its on hold with the embassy still or there is an issue with the package! Grrr

      Our status said "on hold" as well as of yesterday and again a few days prior. I think they just put it "on hold" as it goes through each phase of delivery and is waiting for the next step. I'm not sure what address it is going to, but maybe it reached us faster since it was sent to my husband's work. I hope it doesn't take much longer for yours to arrive! Congrats on the approval!!!
