We randomly met one crazy night in New Brunswick in Aug 07... him from Michigan me from Montreal....6months later we both moved to reduce the 12hr (Detroit-Montreal) distance down to 2hr (Mississauga-Buffalo) we have seen each other every weekend (minus one bachelor party :p) ever since!
If it makes you feel better we sent n out I-129f 6 weeks sooner...we also went through VSC (not sure if they are quicker or slower). Hopefully you will get yours soon *fingers crossed*
