It took 2 months for my wife's, we just received it today (normally about 6 weeks here in the Philippines). They told me things got delayed due to the recent disasters... I suspect your fiancee's should be arriving soon, good luck...

Thanks for the replies. Fortunately the Police Clearance arrived today and we were able to pick it up from the Japanese Embassy. So it took 2 months for the Police Clearance to get processed.

We've been waiting for my wife's Japan police clearance for over two months now (requested on March 10), and this seems longer than usual. Is anyone else waiting for their Police Clearance from the Japanese embassy in Manila, or have recently received it? How long did it take (or is still in progress)?

Congratulations to everyone who got good news today! And a special thanks to those who pushed and prodded and got the process rolling at TSC - without you, I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to announce today that we've been approved as well. Thank you! For those still waiting, it's only a matter of days I'm sure, stay positive !

In case this is useful to anyone (someone may have already pointed this out but with so many updates...), check the actual NVC steps here:

In particular note the registration by email link so you can avoid having to wait for documents from NVC by snail-mail. There is also a link discussing the combined fee payment mentioned earlier here. Some of you may even be lucky enough to go with entirely electronic processing via email to go even faster...

Of course for those of us still stuck in TSC limbo it's not much help for the moment :-) ...

Touched on the 11th as well, but message remains as "...was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office." Let's see if anything happens this week...

I got a new email! I sent two last week to "followup" after i did not get a reply.

The new one says:

"Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. A copy of this inquiry has been forwarded to the supervisor for immediate resolution.

Officer Carole"

I got this:

"Hello,

Your application was received at the Texas Service Center and is currently pending Service consideration.

Thank you,

Officer Carole"

I'm "only" approaching 6 months so plenty of you ahead of me... No clue what that actually means though...
