    I am glad I have been calling the visa specialist every day. I was just informed of my fiance's interview date: March 9 at 6 AM! Super lucky because I will arive in the afternoon of March 8 to Santo Domingo!

      Check my timeline--not very long! My case was closed on 01/10/11 I think, and I got the interview date email on 01/19/11--with interview date exactly 4 weeks later! They aren't playin' around at NVC--WOW! :-D

      @Aztec--That would be awesome! And I'm so excited for you! I'm glad you guys won't have to go through the same 5+ month wait between visits again.

      @I&JJ--Ha ha, I did exactly the same thing! I still kind of do, but now I've reached a point where it's starting to get exciting for me. I still watch the June-December filer threads, though, because NOA2s are really exciting!!!

      A cita is an interview appointment! :-). None for us yet, unfortunately. I called them on Friday evening. Hopefully this week, but I don't know, it seems like the DR might have some serious backlog. Cross your fingers for this week, and congratulations on getting your interview! Soooo close now!
