USCIS would have a USPS tracking number. You can call them and get the number from them. You can then go to the Postal Service's web site and enter the tracking number...it will give you the information available on when the envelope was sent, what offices handled it, and when it was "delivered".

Next, talk to your postmaster. "It was delivered" is not good enough. You need more information.

In the worst case, you'll have to request a replacement card.

I had ours sent to a Post Office Box because I had heard too many anecdotes about cards being taken from someone's home mail box. But don't get to that point until you know what you can find out about it.

Got the Card/Document Production email today.

They did not help me at the info pass. But the Ombudsman replied my mail this morning asking me to re-forward all the documents. USCIS replied my mail as well notifying me that they've seen my response and I should get an update soon. To Grace of God, I received the card production email this evening.

So Last night I sent letters to four different people and today they contacted me that they've seen my response and my I751 has been approved.

How can I locate the congress man?

USCIS claims they did not receive the response to my Rfe which I sent twice. I don't know what to do now. I've sent a mail to the ombudsman but I don't know what will come out of it. I have the tracking details and I have the return slip.

I received RFE in Feb. and I responded in March. After that I've always called USCIS to get status but they could not tell me anything. I set up info pass and I couldn't get any help as well. several service request have been done still no response. I had to mail a 2nd response to the RFE after which I called severally with no response. Then I received another rfe dated feb. 26 again today which states the response is due by 24th May, today is 28th may. What should I do? I originally filed i751 in June, 2012.

Sifa's at the civil surgeon now...he said the pulmonologist only charged him $170 instead of the $450 they originally quoted, so that's a big relief! I'll let you all know how it goes at the CS.

I had the same issues with SS. They eventually approved the SSN with my EAD. It took 4 weeks to get it done and I was calling them weekly. Ask for a case number cos that's what u'll use to follow up.

My Greencard came in the mail today! Now we can look forward to our trip without worrying!

ROC is a JOINT interview, husband and wife both have to attend, ROC is a joint petiton.

Thanks. What i want to know is some people are interviewed, some are not. What is used to determine those that will be interviewed and those that wont be interviewed.

1. Is it 90 working days(Mon-Friday) or weekrnds inclusive?

2. What is the basis of ROC interview or who gets interviewed and who does not?

You should receive your card before 23rd. I received mine in 7days. You'll surely receive it. You can call USCIS to confirm. I called to ask about my GC on the day it was approved. I asked if it could be expedited, lo and behold it was approved. Just give it a trial.

I have a question about processing times. The CSC processing times says 4 months for I-485, and I was transferred at the beginning of June. Any thoughts on when I would be "outside" the normal processing window and start calling people?

Just found out my case was transferred to the CSC yesterday (the same day as the biometrics appt)! But I am a bit confused, since I am from NJ. Does anyone know if this is common? Also, how likely is it that we won't have an interview now? And, about how long does it take after the transfer to get the decision?

Any case can be transferred to CSC. Its not a matter of location. My case was transferred before i received the biometrics notification.

Well, i was approved yesterday!!! I called USCIS on Friday. I told the guy that picked the call that i'm still within the processing time but i wanted my case expedited. He asked me on what grounds and i replied him that on whatever grounds. I only wanted my card. I told him SS couldnt find me in the system and so i need to take my GC to SS office. He said he cant promise me anything as i dont have a strong reason for expedite. I called back on Monday and spoke to a lady, i told her he same thing, she told me that my case has been treated and someone from USCIS will call me in 5 days. I didnt receive any call, but my case was approved. I know it is only God that can do such things. Now i'm so happy!!!
