Hi, in relation to question 7 regarding employment, does anyone know what we should do if my fiance works two jobs? Question 7 only allows to fill out details for one place of employment only. Thank you.

Do you know what questions they ask?? They told me that because i am the beneficiary and not the applicant they cant tell me anything that is case specific. My fiance has totally agreed to get someone else to call and pretend that they are him, idk i think he is just worried he doesnt know what to say.

Hi everyone, my fiance filed our K1 visa application on the 6 July 2010 and so far we havent received our NOA. He sent it via snail mail and with a Walmart money order. I have been bugging him over the past week to call and ask for the receipt number considering it is way past the 30 day mark. I dont know if it is because he works 2 jobs or because he knows he isnt too articulate when it comes to these types of things (i am also the one who put the application together during my last visit) but he still hasnt called. Im sure that he did send it when he said he did but waiting for him to call is like waiting for paint to dry. He doesnt understand how much it actually stresses me out as i feel i am in limbo because of this. All i want to know is that CSC has received our file and it is actually in the process. As we all know, we can watch the progress of the file once we have the receipt number. What i want to ask is if someone could please call the 800 number for me and find out our receipt number. I honestly feel like this is my last resort. My fiance isnt budging and i just want to know. It would be good if you are going through the k1 visa process yourself. All i want is the receipt number. I have all of my fiances details and i would appreciate it with all of my heart if you could call for me and find out. I feel as though this is my last resort and that i dont have any other option. I just want to know what is going on.

Thanks guys, my fiance sent a Walmart money order and they told him that they cant check to see if it has been cashed or not because he didnt keep the cheque number ( =/ ). Hopefully the NoA has just been lost in the mail and not the other way around. Our 30 days is tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Hi guys, my fiance and I are almost at the 30 day mark and still havent received our first NOA. USIC said to call at back at 30 days but i was just wondering if anyone knows what the process will be from here. Are they able to search my fiances name or social security number in the system to see if anything has happened and perhaps we just havent received the letter??? Thanks everyone

hello everyone!i really need your advices and views please help me..i cant take the attitude of my husband anymore becuase when he get pissed off like we argues,or fight..he don't want me to use our cellphone, and also the laptop!!! we had a fight and he told me to go away and i want to get my papers before i go but he took my papers. Please,,, help how can i get my papers back again.I dpn't have any US id proof in the USA. The only id's i have now is my 2 id's from the philippines. Thanks!!!

I really think you should call the police and tell them about your situation. If he doesn't want you there anymore he has no right to hold your paperwork and therefore hold you there against your will. Good luck

I phone the USCIS and they told me that we have to wait 30 days from the date of sending the file to calling back and checking on the status of the file. We sent ours on 6 july to CSC and still have not received anything. Good luck and keep us posted.

My fiance and I sent our to CSC on 6 july (7 july australian time) and we still haven't received anything either. We called and they told us we need to wait 30 days before we can call back to check but did not tell us what we will need to do from there. I feel some relief in now knowing we are not the only ones but it is so frustrating waiting and seeing others receive theirs. We are past the 3 week mark at the moment and I'm hoping that we won't have to call. My fiance sent our I-129F regular post and we used a money order so we are unable to track it. Hopefully we all hear something soon as it is so stressful waiting.

Help my fiance sent our i-129f to csc on the 7 july 2010 and we still have not received our noa1. He sent it regular mail and also did not keep the receipt of the money order so we have no way to check to see if it has been cashed or not. Hi my fiance and i sent our I-129F to CSC on 7 July and we still havent received NOA1. My fiance sent it unregistered mail and used a US money order and just told me that he didnt keep the stub of the money order so we have no way to track it! ugh!! Should we be worried? Please help, im stressing out a little.
