got married last Oct. 23...applied for SSN Card today and the staff said i couldn't use my husband's last name on my SSN card coz i need to do AOS then once i have my greencard then i can change my last name on my SSN card...ayyzzzttt...God be with us...

  we live in California..yes, a little disappointed about it..some were able to get their SSN card with their hubby's surname..lol...anyways..there's nothing we can do..in God we trust!!

  Venus was allowed to use her nmarried name on her SSN card by showing her visa and a certified copy of our marriage certificate. We live in Colorado and it must vary by office.
