  1. i think this type of AP is a little different, you didn't meet the basic financial requirements for your fiance to sponsor you. Once and if the CO accepts the sponsor and finishes up you should be done if there are no other issues. The other AP folks here a waiting on security checks

Thank you Sergi9, My fiance's sister was our cosponsor and she made more that $38,000 last year she is a self employed hope they will finalized our case soon.Theres no more other issue but its only financially...I will pray for ALL of us here who's suffering with Ap God will kept Us strong to overcome this trials, being away from our loveones is depressing.Lord Help Us please.

  2. Hello VJ's everyone here in AP.I want to join in this club to shout my feeling:( I had my interview on december 21, 2010.My fiance's income doesnt met the financial requirements under 221(g)the CO requested new sponsor and we sent it after a week so far when we check our status we are in 'APPLICATION IN PROCESSING'What is this means, I was wondering others are in administrative processing or administrative review. I am confused its been past a month since our interview and almost 3weeks since we submitted the document that they requested. I hope someone here with the similar case can share their experience,..God Speed to all of US here.

  3. I don't want to condemn anyone to undocumented status, that's taking a few leaps ahead of the game. MANY fiance visas don't work out, that's why the I-134 is not legally binding. One can't be expected to be responsible for someone if the relationship fails. Heck, many marriages don't work out, period. To live is to take risks. Also, the fiance visa is billed as a non-immigrant visa, something i still haven't figured out since everyone knows that they will emigrate if all goes well.

Good luck explaining this to the sponsor fishegg6658! She is probably concerned that she will be responsible for you on arrival as the language on the I-134 threatens to sue if the beneficiary (you) collect public assistance.

    Try showing her this: http://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-12693/0-0-0-13496.html

    Happy Wednesday!

  4. I don't smoke. Yes it DOES matter what document you are signing. If someone is worried about having a legally binding contract with the US government when they sponsor someone. The I-134 is NOT LEGALLY BINDING. This means that the sponsor can sign it and they will not be held responsible if the beneficiary ends up on welfare.

The I-864 is LEGALLY BINDING. This is generally not used for fiance visas but you will have to check with the consulate and package 3 to see what is required in your situation.

    thanks Joydee

the consulate is asking for a i-134/ 2009 tax return/ and w2...would she worried about this for me if ever what the circumatanse was she worrying?

  5. Thank a lot for guys who gave an opinion my fiance found a new sponsor but unfortunately when the co sponsor checked the website she changed her mind right away because she is afraid of the responsibility when she have read that she should be responsible for me for 10years support in case and everyhting that's why she wouldn't do that I just hope there's a possibility of the sponsor to get something like an agreement to stop the validity of her sponsorship as soon as I get to the US.She wanted to get an official document to invalid the sponsorship once I get to the US. Is there any idea someone here please. Please I need your opinion again..please
