Its been over 2 months I still did not received my green card .. has anyone going through same delays ?

Hello, I am facing FNU Problem in US, I am unable to get my Driving License becasue they say my name on visa and Social does not match. It;s becasue the Embassy put FNU as my first name. Now Can anyone suggest how to resolve the FNU issue.

Zsila .. you should wait for at least 10 working days after submitting the medicals...mine came on exactly 9th working day after submitting my medicals again

Finally after waiting for 8 months i will be united with my love it was a very tough journey. I feel so relaxed and content now that my visa is in hand. I thank every one on visajourney for their kind support and wish every one all the very best who are waiting for their visa. my advice is to stay positive no matter what comes in your way. I was really depressed when embassy told my case was in AP .. I thought it might take months for them to issue visa. but fortunately my passport was delivered on 20th day after my interview. I have got my medicals done from Apollo Chandigarh and they did not mention any classification on my medical case sheet due to which I am now put on 221 G ..

Therefore I suggest to all the fellow Vj members whoever is from this region not to get their medicals done from this panel physician.

This is getting difficult day by day...I thought all will go well on the interview day .. but just because of one silly mistake my panel physician made i am now put on

221 G ..God knows how long it will take on my case.. I am so nervous and sad. I have read threads where people are waiting for years and still nothing on their case.

On my interview day the officer said we have no issues with your case and seems like good to me..Once u submit the medicals we will issue u the visa. And then he returned me back my passport with a 221 g ..

here is what my 221 g says:

Other: your medical report does not indicate any classification. Contact your panel physician to get it marked.

I got it marked from the physician,, sent back my passport along with the report, But I am worried about the time-line How long would I have to wait now ?

Does anyone have similar experience with New Delhi Embassy.. please share it with me, I will be very thankful to you

I can't believe the staff at Apollo Chandigarh could make such a huge mistake.

It is such a disappointment the Doctor forgot to mention any classification on my medical case sheet.

These people have no idea how much pain I am going through just because of their one silly mistake.

My USCIS Approval is about to expire on Nov 30th so nothing much time left for me.. I hope they approve the visa on time

OK So I tried calling VFS and Embassy and they said it can only be sent through VFS..

therefore I mailed my package through VFS and waiting for the result... fingers crossed

any ideas how long will it take them to decide on issuing the visa ?

yeah they have already mentioned on the letter that submit it by VFS.

What I wanna if submitting personally is faster or VFS ?

I had my interview AT NEW DELHI EMBASSY yesterday and they gave me 221 G which says my medical reports does not include any classification.

So I went to my panel physician and got it fixed. it was a clerical mistake from their side.

Now my question is which is the better way to return these documents ?

I have been asked to return the medical report and my passport.

Should I go personally or send by VFS ?

Any help is appreciated

APPOINTMENT WAS FOR 8 AM AND THEY TOOK THE INTERVIEW AT 9:30. I WAS OUT OF EMBASSY BY 9:45 .

OVER ALL THE INTERVIEW WAS GOOD. STAFF IS VERY SUPPORTING AND THEY WORK AT LIGHTNING FAST SPEED.

IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH NOW I HAVE SUBMITTED MY PACKET 3 WITH NEW DELHI EMBASSY. I TRIED CALLING DOS/EMBASSY BUT I GET SAME RESPONSE EVERY TIME,THAT WE TAKE FOUR TO SIX WEEKS TO SCHEDULE INTERVIEW AFTER RECEIVING THE PACKET 3.

I HAVE READ ON VJ NORMALLY EVERYONE GETS THEIR PACKET 4 OR INTERVIEW LETTER THE SAME DAY OR WITH IN A WEEK.

I AM WONDERING WHY THEY HAVE BEEN DELAYING ON MY CASE ?

CAN ANY ONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT COULD BE THE SITUATION WITH MY CASE ?
