  1. If you just arrived last Wednesday you have to wait for at least 14 days after your POE before going to SSN office because your record may not shown on their system yet

and after your marriage if you wanted to change your last name to your married name you have to do that 30 days before the expiration of your I-94 attached to your passport

or else you may not be able to change it to your married name anymore.

  2. It took me 5 months and 10 days of waiting to have my interview appointment at Jan. 10, 2012 we got our NOA2 last July 31. There's no definite reason why ABDB embassy took time to schedule an appointment maybe because there's alot of application for student visa for locals emirate as well as family visa migrating to the US.

  3. Click this link http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples and it will give you a sample forms on how to fill-up AOS Forms along with other Forms like EAD/AP etc.

With regards to (Surname) always use your Husband Surname on all AOS /EAD /AP Forms the same thing we did on our application.

On SSN you should apply ASAP (after 2 weeks from your Arrival)cause SSN is required on all AOS forms and needed as well for medical and bank transactions.

Expiration will be on 1-94 which is 90 days after your arrival.

A# will be the Beneficiary number on your NOA2.

You are still a K-1 Visa Holder and entered under K-1 visa as well.

You can advice change of address using AR-11

  4. 1. No, unless your interview is after April 15, 2012

    2. No. Your marital status for 2011 is determined at midnight, December 31, 2011, you must be married before then to claim "married"

    3. No. Nor are you required to present three years taxes. Why would you unless it is required by the consulate (not likely) or it helps you (it apparently does not)?

CURRENT income is far more important.

Perhaps i am confusing the three years of tax transcripts with what is required for AOS?

  5. Our interview date is this January 10th 2012. I am planning on getting my tax transcripts for years 2010, 2009, and 2008.

    Question #1:

Will I need to provide tax information for 2011?

    Question #2:

If my fiance and I get married before April 15th 2012 when taxes for 2011 are due, will we be able to file as married and take advantage of those tax breaks?

    Question #3:

I know I made far above the minimum income requirement for tax year 2010, but I am not sure I will be able to meet those numbers for years 2008 and 2009. Do all three past years need to be above the minimum income requirement or just the previous year? I will also surpass the minimum income requirement for 2011 as well if that is even applicable in my case.

  7. My fiance is surely the hottest :P

Shes so hot because she is so sweet, loving and caring. She is always thinking about others rather than herself. She's too cute when shes making LAMBING whenever shes asking for something.

Oh, not to mention she is drop dead beautiful!
