Well, I dnt know if it would be the same thing, but at my interview I was being handed the blue slip, the CO told me that I needed a joint sponsor, but luckly I had it to the interview, so I gave him the doc and he took back the blue slip and told me to go and pay dhl, so I did that and was anticipating the visa delivery , so after 2 week and no visa I sent an email to the embassy asking 4 an update and this was the exact response I got " your file is with a Co and is being reviewed so as soon as the review is completed and everything is in order we will process the case to conclusion. It been a month now, well I suspected they are reviewing the joint sponsor affidavit of support which I submitted

Did u received a reply from the embassy and what did they say?

Has anyone every been through this process and o long does it take the CO to review a file, please.

I brought in documents for a joint sponsor to the interview, over a month ago. I send the embassy an email and they replied saying that my file is with a consular officer and is being reviewed and as soon as the review is complete if everything is in order they will process the case to conclusion. Can anyone tell o long a case takes to review?

so u take in i864 at the interview, it its joint sponsor what they do give your file to co who will review it to c if everything in in order once everything is in order they will process the case to conclusion.one thing I dnt know is o long it take to review

The police record that the embassy is now requesting has nothing to do with the dudus matter.A few months ago it was revealed at the police records office that police officer are selling records to criminals, so person who goes to office with criminal records, get clean record for a price, one police officer was arrested, so u can't blame the embassy.
