    Let him or her ask for Brith Attestation in National Population Commission in any State in Nigeria.

    Hi all,

    My first question for the NVC stage :blink:

    Does anyone know where in Lagos, Nigeria my SO would get an original or certified original birth certificate???? He mentioned something about court? He was born in Edo State, so could he get one in Lagos or does he have to contact officials where he was born?

    to your question.your son will be asked to basic and personal questions but we can only give you some questions to work on.

    they may ask him your full names

    your age or date of birth

    were you married before

    your former husband"s name

    the year you traveled or how long have you been in the u.s

    may be asked if you told him why you broke up your first marriage

    who is taken care of him in Nigeria

    how often you talk with him

    whats the name of your present husband

    does he have children?

    how long have you been married to him

    how often does he speaks with him

    has he been relating with his step brothers or sisters?

    what are their names and age

    he may be asked about your job also.

    these are some of the questions i think they may likely ask him.but just work out some questions and answers with your son and also pray he his over looked and have just a free day with out been stressed.

    HELP CASE APPROVED AT NVC FOR EXPEDITE -PLZ WHATS NEXT

    Hi all,

    Just to share with u all, my son was approved for expedite and the case is at the consulate in Lagos – Nigeria. All through the night I and my husband was awake (time difference ) trying to get hold of the embassy in Lagos to know what is next because my son is in a remote village where he cant be reach by mail from the embassy. To our shock the phone kept ring out. We did send the embassy email but we only got auto reply which didn’t answer our question.

    We only got NOA2 from USCIS b4 the case was expedite and move to Lagos Nigeria.

    Now in Lagos Nigeria, I don’t know where we stand if I cant get them on phone to tell me what to do next. Do we schedule an appointment or what? Could there be a package 3 I need to get from the embassy before I schedule an appointment?

    We appreciate useful input from all.

    Hi Bros,

    Plz i get some few question, my husband a USC just filed my son his step son. i came in here on vsist this yr and got married and stayed back here with my God sent husband in march uptil date i havent gone home. i miss my son so much, now school have resumed back home and my son cant go to school bcus am not there and other issues. now my husband filed for my son in August and we just got NOA 1 can he call for expedite action? secondly i just got a job and my husband doesnt have a job now, i have never filed a tax since i only came in this year. with letter from my employer stating my pay and everything can i act as sponsor for my son? my pay mets povert guideline. i have asset back home. i beg waitin you fit surgest? i am really missing my son. i was thinking that if we get aproval and things go well then i go touch home to work out the rest and bring my son, i just got my green card.thx and god bless u

    My husband is a citizen and we wants to bring by 7 yrs son.

    Is I 130 the fastest way to bring my son?

    Does my husband need to put the check of 355 with the document as my husband file the I 130 for my son?

    I JUST HAD MY INTERVIEW AND I WAS SHOCKED AND CAN TELL U ALL THAT IS ONLY GOD THAT HAVE THE APPROVAL ANSWER. WITH ALL MY PREPARATION OUR INTERVIEW LASTED FOR ONLY 10MIN PLUS THE TIME OF OATH TAKING. I REALLY THANK GOD THAT THE INTERVIEW IS OVER. THE FEAR OF THE INTERVIEW HAD ALWAYS MADE ME ARGUE EVERY LITTLE THING WITH MY HUSABND AND NOW THAT THE INTERVIEW IS OVER WE NOW HAVE PIS.

    WE OWE ALL THE GLORY TO GOD. MAY GODS NAME BE PRAISE FOR EVER AND ALL THANKS TO MOTHER MARY. THE ONLY QUESTION WE WERE ASKED WAS HOW WE MEET. THATS ALL. PLZ FOR THOSE OF U THAT ARE STILL WAITING, I CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT U ARE GOING THROUGH BUT I WILL ENCOURAGE U ALL TO HOLD ON TO GOD. FOR CATHOLICS, PLZ SAY UR ROSARY AS MUCH AS U CAN WITH FAITH. MY CASE IS A TESTIMONY, I ONLY FILED IN APRIL. GOD SEES OUR INTENSIONS, HE SAID KNOCK AND THE DOOR WILL BE OPEN, SEEK AND U SHALL FIND. I KEPT TELLING GODS THOSE WORDS OF HIS AND I KEPT SAYING JESUS GO B4 ME. FOR THE 10MIN I WAS WITH THE IO I KEPT TALKING TO GOD INSIDE OF ME, I KEPT SAYING I COVER THE IO WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS, LORD JESUS SPEAK THROUGH HIM. MOTHER MARY HELP ME OUT.AND TO GOD IT REALLY WORKED FOR ME BCUS I BELIVE. THE WHOLE PROCESS HAS MADE ME VERY CLOSE TO GOD. THERE IS ABSOULTLY NOTHING THAT IS INPOSSOBLE B4 GOD FROM MY EXPIRENCE. AFTER THE INTERVIEW MY HUSBAND TOOK ME TO MY FERVORITE FOOD SPORT, I COULDNT EVEN EAT. I FELT VERY HOT AND SICK AND I SAID GOD AM SORRY FOR ALL THE WRONGS I HAVE DONE. THIS WHOLE THING REALLY BROUGHT ME CLOSE TO GOD. PLZ U ALL SHOULD HAVE FAITH. IF GOD CAN DO IT FOR ME A SINNER HE WILL DO EVEN MORE FOR EACH AND EVERYONE OF U. I WAS ALSO BLESSED WITH A JOB B4 MY INTERVIEW. JUST HAVE FAITH IN GOD. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA AND EACH AND EVERYONE OF US. INSIPTE OF WHAT EVER COUNTRY WE ARE FROM, MAY WE BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE GROWTH OF THIS COUNTRY. AMEN

    Interview next week co sponsor is unbearable

    My Husbands interview for I 485 is next week and bcus we both did have a job when we filed we used a co sponsor but my husband just got a job this month.

    The problem is that his sponsor is becoming unbearable. Can we change our sponsor? We just got a family friend who meets the poverty guideline. Plz help bcus if we wait till interview she may mess my husband up. 100% sure she wont give her original copy of W 2
