  1. My in-law applied for F2B (Oct 2013) for my brother-in-law (over 21). We are in south and somehow the case went to VSC and it's been stuck there for the last 2+ years. I'm noticing that TSC and CSC moving those cases in 5-8 months. I've noticed that VSC dates haven't moved for the last 9-10 months. Isn't it little bit unfair because if your case goes to TSC or CSC, you get PD ahead of 2013 cases.

    Any insight would be helpful.

  2. I know this probably been asked many times here on VJ but I would like to ask a favor for those who have experience and have successfully in petitioned their parents. What supporting documentations did you submit? I just want to have more input on this. Thank you.

    hopefully this would help.

 DS-230 Part 1 completed and signed by beneficiary

 DS-230 Part 2 completed by beneficiary – unsigned, as of yet, per instructions

 Photocopy of the Biographic Data Page(s) of Beneficiary’s Passport

 Original of ‘Non-Availability of Birth Certificate’ (with an attested translation provided) and a photocopy

 Affidavit of Birth Certificate from Beneficiary’s Mother and a photocopy

 Original Marriage Certificate and a photocopy

 Original ‘Passport Office Police Certificate’ for Beneficiary and a photocopy

 Original ‘Police Clearance Certificate’ for Beneficiary and a photocopy

 A photocopy of Petitioner’s ‘Marriage Certificate’ [Original attached to related Case: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX]

 A photocopy of ‘Petitioner’s Birth Certificate’ and an affidavit from Petitioner’s father for mistake of Father’s Name in Petitioner Birth Certificate (with an attested translation provided) [Original attached to related Case: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX]

  3. I've applied for both of my parents and waiting to send DS-230 along with civil documents. My parents have one certified copy of marriage certificate which was issued in 1984 and it's not that easy to get another one. Can one certified copy be used for both parents if I put that information in Cover Sheet since I'm going to send both of the packets in U.S express mail

I know that Notarized copy won't work otherwise I could get done that very easily.

  4. total process should take 8-10 months if the case/s are not thrown into Admin processing etc.

I' not Filipino or filed for anyone there however when i petitioned my mother/father the process was started on march 3, 2010 and was approved on November 1, 2010 (8 months).

I agree. It's taking between 8-10 months. I just noticed that NVC process is going very smooth as fast for me until parents missed the PCC and They would get it by next Tuesday so I'm waiting for that document before I send DS-230. So it put my process 2 weeks behind.

  5. They say mass informatio might have been missing from that year etc when I spoke with the NVC and the DOS agents even though the agent at Dos had no idea the january infomation was out and caught a fit saying I should not have received such information. Told her it's on the website didnt get it from under the books. She said it should not have been posted until December 15th.

That's what I thought. They never publish this information before 14-15 of the month and I was surprised to see it. My Wife brother is 19 and half and her parents visa close to approval. Oh NO oh NO.. I was screaming.
