My wife just received her conditional two year green card. We are now planning a trip to China for her to visit her mother. Are there any restrictions on how long she can stay in China? We are planning a 60 day visit and then return to America. Will this be a problem? Where can I look for any guidelines from the government? Thanks, Biff

Jiayang's visa was approved on the 12th and since then she has been going to the post office in Guangzhou every day waiting for her passport to be returned to her. This morning she told me that approximately 400 people are waiting at the post office everyday from 0800 until 1200/noon. So far no luck on getting her passport and visa. Can anyone tell me what the approximate wait time is for this step?

On another subject, can anyone advise of a reliable and cost effective company to ship some of her larger items from China to the US? Thanks for the help.

Just received an email from Jiayang and her interview is over and her visa has been approved. As soon as I talk with her I will post a review of the consulate in Guangzhou.
