I am sorry for opening this topic but I couldn't find any related topic in the forum that would answer my question. I'm preparing the I-864 and I know that it required 3 years incomes. However, I've read numerous posts saying that the current and latest income are most important. For my current income I've put down what I'm earning this year which is around 33k. For 2009, my income is about 30k. In 2008, my income is around $26k but I was self-employed that year. Thus, the adjusted income after tax deduction is around 12k which is way below the requirement. And here is my questions: should I included 2008 income into my form? Do I need a co-sponsor for my case (this is worst case scenario)? and if I included 2008 income and also submitting a document explaining all the tax deduction, would that help my case?
