I would get a new police certificate, my husband's interview is also in June and we got his certificate in February, but he will be applying for a new one for the interview. I would advice you to be cautious, you wouldnt want them to give you grief over the police certificate.

NVC completed our case on March 8th and we are moving into 2 months with no word from the consulate and no interview date has been provided. Does anyone know what I can do, or who I can contact, NVC continues to give me generic message of Backlog and not enough people to handle the capacity. If anyone has any suggestions or can provide me with any help I would greatly appreciate it.

Dont really have the answer to your question but please keep in mind that the police check is only valid for 3months so you might want to wait a little closer to the interview date to get that......Good Luck

My husband and I were looking on the nigerian consolate website and the police report instructions provides a specific location in Lagos to request and pick up the police report. However, my husband lives in abuja, travelling and staying in lagos to receive the report would require too much work. my question is, if anyone could answer this, do we have to go to Lagos for this report or can it be done in Abuja.
