  1. Hello,

My fiance was from Holguin. She had to go to swiss embassy in Havana to pick up her packet. Go to this link http://havana.usint.gov/contact_us.html and click on the "following form".

Fill it out and ask them your question about receiving your packet. They should respond to you relatively quickly and from then you can begin to email them. See what they say in their response and if you need any other help. let me know.

    I hope this helps.

  2. I wanna say elizabeth that the medical for what I have heard is 400 cuc and I think he pays it at the embassy only if he gets approved which is good that way we dont loose the money..Let me know if you find out how much the visa cost..CUBA IS STRESSFUL LOL..well call the nvc get your hav case number and call the appt so you can set up your appt and hopefully get it for this year..good luck

Claudia2010 is right. I just talked to my fiancée and it costs 400 cuc.

  3. So,

My fiancée has her interview coming up March 3rd in Cuba and I wanted to see if there are any more questions I can find to be better prepared.

I have read all the embassy reviews and have made a list of all the possible questions I could find. I wanted to ask and see if there is anymore recent Cuba K-1 interviewees that have already been through the interview and can let me know what to expect.

    Thank for your help!

  4. I definitely think you should include your tax info. I think with the tax info, nobody can question your income or job. I dont know about when to submit proof of income, as I am at the point waiting to submit that.

I have two questions. One is that my job is seasonal. For about 4 months every year I am laid off (this is usually when I visit my fiance). I cumulatively over the year make well over the poverty line. But, would it be ok to include unemployment checks (I collect UI while laid off) along with the pay stubs and an explanation of my job situation and total income for the year ? I think because of this situation I would include tax info. I've noticed that some people say it isn't necessary, but including it doesn't hurt right ?

Second question. At what point in the process do I have to submit proof of income ? Is it in the initial application or later on down the line ? I would like to make sure I am working full time when asked for this information. As opposed to during my lay-off period.
