Dear All,
I have applied for immigration of my wife and my wife is schedule for interview at New Delhi consulate on 26th Aug. We have just found out that she is 4 weeks pregnant. We have been informed that she cannot have a chest X ray and MMR immunization. Does this make her medically ineligible or the consulate has no issues if she not immunized or undergone chest X ray. Please advise

Hello All,
I am a LPR and have applied for immigrant visa for my wife. The NVC has completed the case and sent the same to New Delhi consulate for interview on 6th August, 2010. Everything seemed to going fine when i suddenly realized that i have misspelled the name of my wife's father in both I 130 and DS 230 form submitted to NVC. Instead of Sujit i misspelled it as Sumit. The mistake was not noticed by me or NVC and now they have sent the case to New Delhi embassy. I have all the documentary proof like my wife's birth certificates and our marriage certificates to show the correct name of my wife's father. I am now worried how can i get this corrected or what do do. Hope it is not a fatal mistake and will delay my case or lead to refusal of visa. Can anyone help me out.
Also, please note that i m currently in USA and don't plan to be in India at the time of my wife's interview. Is it important to accompany my wife to the New delhi consulate. Does it convey a negative impact if i m not present during the interview. I m confused as i m receiving contradictory opinion on this matter. Please advise

I just got the immigrant visa issued from the New Delhi, India. When my passport and the brown envelope arrived by courier, I realised my father's name was incorrect. On further checking I found out that the error was due to wrong spelling mentioned in the DS230 form. the mistake was unnoticed and now I am worried how to correct it. I am due to fly to USA on 2nd september, 2010. Can i get it corrected at the POE or after arriving in USA as I dont have much time left for my flight. Will I face any problem at POE.??????
