Hi.. I don't know.. They said have one year to wait for the card. at least you already had the biometrics and it only took 2 months for your extension letter to arrive. I hope i don't have to wait for so long too for the process. Maybe you have to wait more maybe this days or months you will get it. good luck..
jjd thanks for your replay, but we had to call about the extenstion letter because we didnt receive it, and when i call i spoke to an officer and, she was kind of mean and she told me that it was ok, that they havent send me my extension letter, but how it would be ok, if that extension letter is the proof of the roc movement, i dont understand, and i have place two service request and i dont have any answer. I think they dont want to work, and it is very stressful sometimes i feel like it would denied, but im still with my husband and we love each other, i dont know what else to do.

Hello, me and my husband fill out ini january, and as today we havent receive any answer from our case, the last touched was on 6/26/10. I didnt send the Affidavit from people, because I send some other things, my question is, is there any probability than they are taking so long with my case because i didnt send them? CAn I still send them?

MArk!! we are on the same track, What is a congressman? and how can I involve one into my case I also see that my case will be longer than the 6 months that it already have, they do not give nothing of information.

Hello, i have a question my husband applied for ROC on January as today we do not have any answer. He moved to another city because he found a job over there, and I still here in our city because I work here planning to move with him next month, Do yall think it would be a problem with his ROC application because he is not with me at this time? We call us everyday and everything , he moved for job not because we dont want to be together.

Hi, i am very concern about the service request, I have place a second service request and they have told me that wait 30-60 days to receive a response, but they do not tell me what is going on, as today there is 6 months and week that we have submitted the application.

Hi All:
I received following response to my service request
“The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the required investigation into your background remains open.
Until the background investigation is complete, we cannot move forward on your case. These background checks are required to be completed on all applicants who apply for the immigration benefits you are seeking. We will make every effort to make a decision on this case as soon as the background checks are complete. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact customer service at the number provided below.”
I have following questions, if you have some more info about these:
1)Does that mean that USCIS has not examined the facts of my case?
2)Is this purely a criminal background check like—finger print, name check, Interagency Border Inspection Services (IBIS) check?
Also wondering if someone has received a similar kind of response to their service request? My understanding is that USCIS sent all these responses based on typical templates, but not based on individual case.
Well, at least you know what is going on with your case, I really do not why they are taking forever with background check, they were supposed to do it when whe fill out for I-130, not for removing conditions.

Interview letter received 07/17 for 08/12.

“I-751 Waiver” is an application that you file if your marriage to USC is ended in a divorce or your USC spouse is not alive. It is a good-faith waiver application. Looks like you are still married to USC??
oh yeah, i think i was in the wrong forum, lol
-
Hi brenda&Adrian,
You posted in wrong thread. I believe you are not waiver filer...
WHAT IS WAIVER FILER??

WHAT CAN I DO IF I FILL OUT IN JAN 21, MY LAST UPDATE WAS ON JUN 26, AND IT STILLS ON INITIAL REVIEW, ALSO I WAS TRYING TO MAKE AN INFOPASS APPOINTMENT, BUT MY NEAREST OFFICE IS NOT TAKING APPOINTS. IM SO STRESSED, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO, EVERYBODY IS GETTING THEIR GC IN LESS THAN 5 MONTHS .

I'm thinking it must be lost in translation. It would be hard for me to believe anyone that wasn't completely evil could have a baby they didn't want AT ALL just to stay in one specific country. I'm sure it's happened before, but I just can't wrap my head around something like that.
If you were offended at thinking that they meant anyone with a valid marriage would have babies, that's the part I think must be lost in translation. Many of us VJers can not or will not have kids for their own private reasons. We definitely won't be able to give birth or adopt before the Removal of Conditions filing and processing unless we hit the lottery.
oh yeah, but for example in my case I had a baby much before my husband got his resident card, when he got it we already had a baby, and i wonder why this can not be a clue that our marriage is based in love. i know that actually we can expect everything from people, and thanks to that people we the ones that are really saying the true they do not believe in our kids, and they might think that we only have babies so our spouse can get the cg, but actually people that really think will never think in do such a thing.

Visa bulletin for august 2010 is out !
Check it here :
WHATS VISA BULLETIN??
-
But why do they do not believe so much in the babies because I think it is the biggest proof of a good marriege, I dont think someone will have a baby with someone that do not love or like, just to get a GC, all marries with good base will have babies.
-
I think you should schedule an infopass, or call and explain everything, i dont uderstand if it is about the driver license or the extencion on his residence. Because if it is the driver license the extension that they gave him, i think it is valid to get a new one. Good luck, I havent hear nothing too, and I think all cases were touched on the 26 because mine was too. its wired huh?
-
Best of luck. I'm hoping for the best for you. Nothing you can do at this point but hope and wait.
YEAH, THAT IS WHAT I THINK JUST TO WAIT A LITTLE BIT MORE, AND CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR APPROVED GC, I THINK IT WOULD LET YOU BREATH BETTER LOL, FOR NOW YOU ARE FREE OF PAPERWORK UNTIL YOU DECIDE FOR NATURALIZATION. AGAIN CONGRATULATIONS, AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENT.

I HAVE CONTACTED USCIS BECAUSE MY CASE WASN'T UPDATE FOR MORE THAN 4 MONTHS, NOW ON THE WEBSITE IT SAYS UPDATE ON 6-26-2010, AND THEY SEND ME AN EMAIL THAT CONTAINS THIS:
The status of this service request is: Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter.
THAT MEANS THAT I WILL RECEIVE A RESPONSE SOON? IM SO WORRIED BECAUSE I SENT MY APPLICATION ON JANUARY.
