listen, the only person who is borderline attacking is YOU so please stop
you have ordered Jenny to apologize in a situation she did not error
now you are subtlely insinuating we're attacking each other
please stop
you are not our father
miind your own business
now THAT was an attack see the difference?
people are attempting to help each other and sometimes the written word comes across wrong but that doesnt mean "attacks" are happening... this thread is NOT the "normal" online forum

And also, you got your approval in less than 100 days while others have been waiting twice that long, so you really shouldn't be bitching about it. Just my two cents.

What name do you go by now your previous married name? or your maiden name? I used my ex married name as I have been that for 25 years. Where it lists previous names you would put your maiden name.

They should put the guy who is in charge of cashing our checks in charge of petition processing. That appears to be the only step with absolutely no delay.

He's a security guard. You guys are creeping me out with your MySpace stalking.
Unless USCIS is outsourcing their processing to security guards...

That 16 char alphanumeric number is what you need in case you do not get a response to your service request which most of the time comprise of form letter stating that you need to wait anywhere between 1-12 months (depends on the mood of person replying) before you can contact them again to see what is going on . In case they do not reply within 30 days then you are now eligible to mail the service center with this number. and at that time they will tell you the same thing unless of course you get a reply from office Garza .

let me try again... i need to put positive vibes out there in the universe, not negative...
absolutely agree with the person who said their spouse should BE here by now v. waiting for NOA2 at this point. when i filed in july for my 12-year old canadian stepchild whose father got his greencard last year, we assumed he would be finishing the second half of 7th grade here (i.e. here by now). it's tough for all of us that we haven't even gotten thru this first STEP by now, which should be such an easy step. the real work is in the NVC. here's putting positive energy out there in the world for all of us June/July filers to get to NVC quickly.

This is so odd...we paid to be TSC hostages

nab reacted to costaricajosh in California Service Center To Texas Service Center
Maybe the fastest way to get things moving would be to ship the most important family member of every agent in the TSC to another country and not allow them to return until every transferred I-130 is completed and received by the NVC.....

I think the 350 criminals would make a great clean up crew for Haiti! I really think they should be put to work there!

Whoever mentioned influencing???
I wish people would pay attention/read closely before posting.
She has said she will try to find out what is going on, ie reasons for errors/delays/backlog AND how it will be resolved.
Believe me, as ungrateful as some people appear to be, if I were in those shoes, I would feel a lot more comfortable knowing I have an excellent attorney that will try to find out things - free of charge
Skynaut, if you have any better ideas please share them, as there a lot of people looking for the answer. Now you MAY be on the right path to finding one (cant guarantee it - but I think so)
Once you have further info - Im sure laurel will advise accordingly and what panels you should take.
Personally Id have written to the USCIS Ombudsman and be calling the uscis on a daily basis (my wife did/i did do just that re our case, anyway). It annoyed them, but it still got things done.
Personally I take my hat off to the people here who have waited so long, and have done something about it, even if no farther further. Sitting and moaning about it on the net when advice is being offered, for free, isnt going to get you anywhere, I can promise you that.
Read the whole transcript - each case is different and takes a different amount of time to adjudicate too, for what its worth.

nab reacted to YuAndDan in new k3 immigration policy
They can always file the I-130, wait for NOA-1 then file the I-129F as per the procedure for a K-3, there is nothing stopping someone from "applying", it's what USCIS, and then NVC does with the petitions after filing that matters.

nab reacted to U&S in California Service Center To Texas Service Center
It has been 15 business days since our 130 was approved (Dec 9). Still no NVC case number. NVC says they do not have our file. I emailed TSC Dec 24 asking for the exact date that our 130 was sent to NVC. No response yet.
Dan - Given TSC said they never sent your file to NVC, I am pretty confident they did not send mine either. I will call NCSC Monday and demand an answer on the location of the file and why it has not been sent to NVC. Total waste of a month. What do they care?
I am completely on board with filing a class action lawsuit against USCIS. Let's seriously look into this and post about what we find.
Does anyone on VJ work in PR and know the best way to garner media attention for this issue?

TSC is in a state of mass confusion. First they code into our case status "Post Decision Activity" as if it has been approved when it hasn't even been looked at yet. And then they code in to our case updates on Nov 24th that it has been sent back for review to the USCIS from the Dept of State (NVC) also when it has not even been looked at yet and in fact hasn't even left TSC.
So it just occurred to me that the people that have gotten an approval (NOA2) in the mail without email notification don't really have a NOA2 approval because someone else from TSC has coding in a command (by mistake) to send out the NOA2 approval letter. Why else would NVC not have a case number or the file?
Yes, I am all for seeing if we could get the news media to take up a crusade on our behalf. Where would we start?
The K3 visa was suppose to alleviate these kinds of problems by issuing a non-immigrant visa while the spouse waits for immigration approval. But the USCIS has found a way around it (evidently) and it seems to me that they are illegally circumventing the law.

Maybe we should all just throw in the towel and hire a coyote to bring them across the border! Just kidding USCIS. I think that TSC is angry with all the petition transfers from CSC and they are taking it out on us. Someone should be held accountable for USCIS's incompetence. (Not kidding).

I was personally attacking the other "PATIENTS" guy, who I guess is a troll predicting April/May. I appreciate you contacing your congressman. Your timeline just reminded me how silly this system is. But I'm glad you posted because now I know what's going on. I come here to find out the facts as best I can, not to be consoled or to cry the blues, and I'm not interested in speculation.
