I had my interview in Nov/ 2010 in Rio de Janeiro and my fiance could not be there. It wasn't a problem at all. My interview didn't take 5 minutes. Don't worry about it. Good luck!

Do I need to have my Brazilian Police Certificates (from K1 visa interview)translated to English for AOS? I'm not sure if the police certificates are needed to adjust status.

They told me they sent my package on Oct 1st, but I told them I never got it. They said it's OK.

I'll print the email and show at the consulate if they ask me for my letter.

BTW I now 2 other people from Brazil in the same situation. They also never got their interview letters. One of them didn't have any problems at the consulate the other one didn't have her interview yet.

That's why I think this's happening a lot.

You don't need to worry. I also never got package 4 with the interview letter. I think it's becoming common there. I emailed the Consulate and they said it's not problem. We can download all the forms and info from the link they gave us.

Being in the military does not make it faster. My fiancé is in the military and we didn't get NO2 yet. It's being 3 months now. VSC doesn't seem to be fast now.

Yes, he can visit you and it won't affect your application.

I don't think they are too fast right now, it took them 10 days to get our check cashed and we just got our NOA1 today, that process usually takes just 2 to 4 days as i seen on another time lines over here...so idk...hope they go faster from now on...i heard July is the busiest month

Not sure how fast they are right now. It's being 2 months and 20 days since I got my NOA1. I'm waiting for my NOA2 and hope it'll come soon!
