    Spending my days with my man! Finally!! He got here n Tuesday the 7th thru JFK...went thru customs was asked to sit in a room (in there for 45mins) then the woman took his fingerprints, picture, asked for the envelope and asked when is he planning to marry and sent him on his way to me...:)

      Erica ... 1 last thing ... U said " fill out 2 of the forms" on the plane they give out 2 diff 1s ..wat one should he take? The one that he fill out thats the one he fills out 2 times? ... Thanks girl...?

    NVC finally received our case....new case number given. I have to call back on Friday to see if it has been sent to the consulate yet.

    Received my response from my Senator (letter version) they are basically saying the same thing give them 30-45 days to find out what they can about our case status! They also mentioned there are so many others in wait so time will be delayed some by the USCIS...duh no kidding! Anyways, guess we have no choice but to wait.

    Called the USCIS on Monday (which is my 5 month mark) and they told me to call back in 46 days to find out what's happening with our case :(

      They always try that. Tell them you want to speak with a Tier II person. You can also put in a service request at this level :)

      I wrote my Senator....after I was told by the NCSC to give them 25 days after requesting the Service Request...so still just waiting.

    Had foot surgery today and Toney is so upset he couldn't be here with me :( Why do we have to go thru this wait period for so long? Still trying to hang in there and when my cut off date comes and no NOA2 received I might be going where my man is!
