  1. I would appreciate any help for my situation

My spousal visa CR1 got denied in Morocco, Casablanca. How much time does the USCIS take to review the case again? I heard that it might be 6 months and other members told 2 years.

What should be done during that?

    Thanks

Hello I'm sorry about you denial casa is such a hard consulate! my husband and I had the same thing happen in 2010 he was denied at his cr-1 interview it took 7 months before we heard anything and then we received our noir, which that is when you will find out the reason(s) for denial. Then finally in December 2011 had our second interview it was at 3 and yes it was an interview it was much smoother and approved!

It will be awhile just make sure that your senators office is on top of it with you they truly can be a huge help come time to send in your noir and you will only have 30 days to put it together, not even because you need to allow time for the paper to come in the mail and time to send it back so what I would suggest is to just start putting proof of relationship together don't over due it though with pictures, have family and friends write letters that have seen you together and can tell them how you are together! and then when the noir comes be sure, like somebody said earlier to address every reason they give for denial and be sure to think about the interview, write the whole interview down and think for yourself what might have caused an issue! God Bless praying everything works out!

  2. Today i get message that they revoke my application

he did not know what books i read and he joked in interview about Thanksgiving calling it BIG CHICKEN DAY as my favorite holiday

they said he did not know what religion i was before i married and became musleum

I converted to Islam before i met him/

now i have to January 26th to do say i will appeal. Should i appeal or reapply?

First I want to say I am very sorry for what u are going through I know how you feel!

My husband and I had our interview sept-27-2010 and were denied, we waited one year before we heard anything and then we were revoked also, made an appeal and revoked again why we still don't know but then we went full force and now have a visa approved as of december 13!! please feel free to message me I would be happy to help and give any advice I can!

  3. I know I have read this on hear before but I just can not seem to find it! Anyway my husband was just approved for his visa but out of the blue they call us today and ask us to find another sponsor the one we had just didn't seem to be enough.

Well we had a friend offer to sponsor but he was on social security last year and of course did not pay taxes because he was not required to.Now he has his Military retirement coming in which is more then enough ,both the military and social security said they would send letters stating how much he made and will continue to make! So my question is are they going to allow us to use him as a sponsor because he does not have tax returns, I have been digging and digging for information but am getting nowhere please if anybody knows about this any advice would be great!

  4. We did contact the consulate and was told that he only needs his passport. After the interview, they would let him know what documents are needed again. I am concerned about him needing another offical letter for the medical exam. Not sure how that works.

    Thanks!

Hi you know at the interview u are given a list of things to do so my husband just took that with him to the doc. You can get an appointment right away and documents from the doc, my husband used the woman we called her that day after the interview and she said we could come the next day. He had x-ray, shot and blood taken.

They told us the same thing about the passport we had sent so much evidence that we did not need more.

  5. Hi my husband just had his second interview last week.....every second interview is done at 3 in the afternoon that's what they told us. don't take anything with u just the passport. After the interview and he is approved CO will give a list of things u will need.As soon as all these things are collected u take them in and they will tell u when to come back for the visa it's like 2 days later!

    1.police report

    2.court document

    3.birth cert...

4.will have to do the doctor exam all over and yes this is a must they all have to have it again

5.I-864 and new tax year 2010 for u and if you have a cosponsor, theirs also and our cosponsor they wanted his ID and birth cert..

and for us they needed another copy of our untranslated original marriage cert...

We had collected all of this before the interview just in case anyways the only thing we did after is the doctor..

I hope this help God Bless!

  6. Congrats. I wish you had a timeline so I could see how you have accomplished each step.

I pray he gets the visa quick and is at your side soon!

Thank you so much! I will try to put up a timeline tomorrow been meaning to do that! I feel so blessed we have lived in morocco for 3 years together and now I get to introduce him to my family face to face so excited!

  7. I have had a few people asking me to share more.Well we married in Oct,"2008" ,we filed our I-130 end of May "2009" ,was approved by USCIS Dec "2009"

we had an interview in casa Sept,"2010" refused the reason they gave when we recieved our NOIR was In one of our chats they asked my husband if I had finished school He stated no but the Co said that in my chat I stated that I had finished school by getting a GED but this was not true I never said that and my husband was correct so we sent in the proof for the NOIR and more evidence to prove a bona fide marriage so I sent in everything but then that was revoked and stated we could make our last appeal and this time it was stated that since our joint account didn't have enough activity I have to explain why the account doesn't have more activity so here we are. But God willing this time. And I have lived here in Morocco with my husband this whole time (3 years)!

in oct and I have lived in Morocco for 2 years.

  9. Hi all,

My fiance was told it was a denial at his interview yesterday at Casa. I asked him if they gave him any paper and he told me no. All they gave him was the photographs back he'd taken with him to the interview. Has anyone heard of this before? Does anyone know what it means? I'm puzzled. And we don't know why he was denied. He was just told our case was going back to USCIS .......... hmmm! Thanks everyone

I'm so sorry my heart goes out to u ...... If I was u I would call casa right away and see about getting some info of why it was denied and also call your senators office and have them look into it they seem to get a lot of info for u well they did for us! But don't wait I would even send casa a email!

  10. My husband and I did all of our papers during ramadan and you could do it all in 3 weeks if you don't take a single day off u just keep ontop of the papers!I know a couple who did it in 12 days! but u can for sure do it during ramadan just when you go to the consulate the hours change during that time and you have to call and make appointments now! if you have more Questions please feel free to ask! Anything u need to know about papers just ask! I still have the list from the adul of papers and documents needed. :) God bless and good luck with everything!

  11. That has to be hard on you ...2 years and deny  I'm so sorry. What more they want ? Something isn't right.

At first it was very hard but what do u do ! now we r just waiting , it will be 1 year since his last interview in september! We did ask over and over why? nobody really knew just said my inlaws didn't smile in a photo so be very careful with photos u choose! they told our senator he never told them I was living in Morocco but then we went over the questions she asked him and that was one of the first questions she asked him and he answered her with 2 years she has lived in morocco with me! So truly who knows! Just hope And pray next time goes better!

  12. You know I have lived here in morocco with my husband for 2 years 3months and we were still refused at our first interview so there is nothing really that u can do! casa is truely a hard consulate they have had lots of fraud here in morocco! but it is good for her to come here so you can have your wife with you get to know her more! and the list that was just posted is a great place to get started!

  13. I'm very sorry for what your going through I know.it is good to call your senators office they probably will not be able to stop your papers from being returned, but our Senator put us on the right path to get things going again! We filed a CR-1 visa and were still refused nobody could understand why not even the uscis we had no red flags my husband is 1 year older then I am,I have even lived here in Morocco for 2 years with my husband now. He answered every question right there was nothing he even new everything about my daughter ,who lives here in Morocco with us..... he had a ton of evidence pictures, emails, airplane tickets, receipts from living here in Morocco a letter stating that when we come back I have a job and a house that I own we had a co sponser we also had papers from the doctor stating that I had lost a baby! when we asked why they told us they thought he didn't love me and just wanted to come to the usa! When the Senator called they told them they have to meet quota so I do think it is luck when it comes to the casa embassy but who really knows!I pray u have answers soon hang in there!Just be sure to stay strong and lean on each other for support! We too are still waiting for them to contact us for another interview God willing not to much longer!

I know I need to do my time line sorry about that I will get to it soon!!
