    got the interview appointment for July 26, but still no update on the EAD which I really needed "yesterday". I want my EAD soon PLEAAAASE! :-(

      also if you can get a job offer letter and call your local congressman ask her to request to USCIS ..im sure if you do that you can get it sooner..

      I know I am in the same position you are - got interview for July 27 but no EAD and I just got TA offer .... it pays tuition, fees and a stipend. But I can't accept until I have authorization to work ... I need the EAD too. Batya who do you contact at USCIS?

      i did but to expedite your EAD u need the congressman help. i received an email from USCIS about my card production (EAD) . i think ill get it next week.. haha i dont know why we got our interview first than EAD..

    AOS, EAD & AP filed in May 4 and NOA1 on May 11. hoping to get biometrics on the 1st or 2nd week of June, and my EAD by August

    Kezia is still cramming with preparations, but hoping to be done with driving lessons by the 20th, the final fitting by the 22nd, and everything packed and ready by the 27th. Meanwhile, Kezia is hoping to catch up on sleep, because lately she's been so stressed and tired that she's been having a lot of accidents and forgetting a lot of things. :-(

    Kezia is leaving for Samar within 7 hours (4:40AM flight), but still worrying about the delivery of her visa which hasn't arrived in the past 5 days. She'll be in Samar for a week and wouldn't be coming back until Dec5. She left an authorization letter for her sis, together with what's left of her IDs, but her sister is also starting a new job on Tuesday so the whole apartment would be empty on most days...

    Kezia is frustrated again. Her interview at the US Embassy is at 7AM tomorrow, and her eyeglasses chose tonight of all times to get broken. It couldn't be fixed with a superglue (and it instead made a mess of her fingers & hands :-( ouch!), and it's Sunday night & too late to get a new one, so it will have to be taped. It s...ure would look funny at the interview, unless she can somehow hide it with her hair.

    yes, Macy, that's the number, +18003755283 or you can also try the US Dept of State +12026631225 then at the message prompt press 1 then 4, then 2, then 3, then 2, and finally 0.

    After your case is done at the USCIS, you can then call the National Visa Center at +1-603-3340700

    I'm overwhelmed with work, preparing our documents for my medical & visa interview, preparing for my trip home to say my goodbyes, planning to attend several reunions, planning my driving lessons, and shopping & preparing for my trip to join David before New Year.     Stressing about the budget is bad enough. On top of that, I'm stressing about the storms, David's connecting flight (and also missing the pamamanhikan lunch and some of my close relatives who will have to go home soon to prepare for the elections), and a lot of more things. I just hope that we don't miss that connecting flight and be in time for everything. I want him to make a good impression with my clansmen/women and friends.

      thanks to all the wishes and congratulations. David just went home tonight. He got lucky with the flights and the storms: the flight was 1 hour early (for the first time in months, and the other storm still hasn't arrived until now. We spent about $1K though, for 2 engagement parties and 1 picnic at the falls, and many of my relatives & friends weren't able to come at the last hour because of the election and because of a seminar that was called just two days before the eve...

    I'm excited about David's pamamanhikan, and our official engagement party. I hope that he wouldn't be overwhelmed with the many members of our clans and my friends too, and I tried to keep it to the minimum (most important people only) which would still be around a hundred people. In less than 3 weeks, we'll be together again! YEHEY!!!

      there's no fee for that... just check our CONTENTS for my latest posts at our profile. we used the "humanitarian" reason. David's Dad just died, and his Mom has had a chronic & acute cancer for about two years now and wants to see us both settled.
