  1. Hello. I had my interview last Wednesday in Houston TX. I waited for 3 hours and my interview was only 5 minutes. These are the questions asked.

    1. who is the commander in Chief?

    2. Political parties

    3. Writer of the Declaration of Independence

    4. Political party of the president

    5. Give 3 original state

    6. When do we celebrate Independence day

The IO also asked me for documents showing proof that my husband and I are still together. (I gave insurance documents and Mortgage statement). She said I passed and said that Oath Taking Ceremony will be on the 26th.

The only thing that is annoying is the 2 hours wait for you to be called and one hour to wait for your letter of approval. Good Luck to everybody. God Bless!

  2. when you go to your medical the doctor will ask you about it, and just be honest and tell the truth and maybe the doctor will ask you to go to a psychologist. It is nothing to worry about, I have my scar too and I just told the psychologist about the past. i don't think it will affect your visa. Good luck there is nothing to worry about

  3. I want to apply for my aos already but my problem is my husband is still looking for a job he just got out in the military and getting a housing allowance, my question is can we use that as our income in the aos? or my sister can be a co-sponsor but she lives in California and we are here in Houston.

also, I called all the c.surgeons in my area and they are charging big time for the medical I693, anybody out there can recommend a good civil surgeon? thanks

  4. congrats!

st.lukes was very rude to her, i wish she have the name of the person who told her that and should be reported. i hate them for being like that, if they only know the feeling of a person being there for her medical, oh well there is always karma, i wish both happiness :)

  5. Help!!!

I am a bit devastated tonight! My fiancée failed her medical. One of the tests she took discovered a “possible spot” on her left back that could be turberluloisis. They are now saying that she will have to return to the clinic on July 13, 14, and 15 of July, to take a “sputum exam.” I’m not clear on this, but my fiancée said this could take two months to get the results back as to whether the outcome will be negative or positive for TB. On the other hand, I have read that sometimes they can have a negative on the “sputum exam” and allow them to clear the medical. So, what can we do? The question is can we send her to a private clinic and get the results back quicker, and then report such to St. Lukes? What is really astonishing is that my fiancée went through a complete physical a couple of weeks ago, before leaving her employment in which she had taken X-rays. The physician never indicated any such spots. Please advise, because I’m completely lost!

    Thanks,

    Maleman

hello maleman, st luke's is the only clinic accredited by USEM, just pray that the sputum test will be negative :) good luck and hope things will get better

  6. there is nothing to worry about, i had the same experience in st. lukes, they found some scars on my wrist, i told the psychiatrist what happened, the interview was like just 5 mins, if he is satisfied with your answer he will let you call for the result after 2 days.

usually they do the psyche thing for annulment or scars on the wrist. I had my interview last Monday and the Consul did not mention anything about it. Good luck :) and God Bless

  7. are you referring of your wedding plans within 90 days of your arrival in the US? or are you referring a wedding in the philippines? Because mine is a wedding in the Philippines Next year, thats the plan im talking and the one in US will only be a civil wedding not much of a preparation.

Hi, the Co just asked me if I have a date already for the wedding and I said Sept 24, he did not ask me anymore any questions, if ever the CO will ask you the same question just tell the date of the civil wedding, if he will ask further questions thats the time you will say about the next plan, I learned that its better to answer yes or no so he will not ask any more questions :)
