We plan to cross from Montreal into NY, so Amtrak is available for the whole trip. Does anyone know if the US handles customs in Gare Centrale, or is it done right at the border?

My husband and I had our interview on Wednesday - success!!! All went fine.

Now we're waiting for his passport to be ready at DHL and starting to make plans for his travel to the US. On the "Welcome to the USA" letter they gave us, it says "You may enter the USA by plane, bus, car or boat" - does anyone know if he can also enter by Amtrak train?

We received our interview date (Feb 9!) late last month with all of our interview instructions by email (yay electronic processing!). Should we also expect interview materials to be DHLed/mailed to us, or are the emailed notification and instructions all that we need?
