Did anyone submit their documents via USPS registered mail?
My wife and I mailed her documents at the beginning of November. We're cutting it close to the deadline, but the post office told me it would be delivered on November 5th. Now it's the 10th and the tracking still indicates that it is sitting in Chicago (was mailed from NC, bound for Vermont). She's getting a little nervous.

Thanks for the replies, everyone.
Yes, the zero is missing from the wrong place, so I expect this was a typo on the visa.
I've scheduled an Infopass appointment for Thursday, and we'll make sure everything is straight before filing.

Other than the zero, it's the same. I'm just confused because it's at the end of the first set of digits, not the beginning. E.g. the first set of digits is "20" on the K1 and "200" on the NOA2. Everything else is the same.

My wife entered the country on a K1 visa, and is about to file her I-485.
On the visa in her passport, there is a line labeled "A#", which is a number in the format NN-NNN-NNN.
We had been using this as her A# on all of the forms we have printed so far, and were planning on mailing the I-485 packet on Monday. However, I noticed that on her NOA2, the A# is slightly different: it is a nine digit number in the format NN0-NNN-NNN (that is, almost the same as the one on her visa, but there is an extra zero on the first set of digits).
Has anyone else ever run into this? Which number should we be using on the forms: the A# on the visa or the one on the NOA2?

My fiancée has scheduled her interview at Montreal for late January. For her medical exam, she wishes to be examined by a female doctor. Does anyone who has had their medical done in either Toronto or Montreal know if a female doctor may be requested for the medical?

For the sake of completeness: we got the P4 documents just a couple days after I posted this, and scheduled her interview for late January. Thanks for those who replied.

I wasn't even aware of this part of the forums. Thanks.
We mailed the P3 in on September 27th. The letter that we both received was a single page, looks nothing like the P4 images on the wiki, and says only to bring DS-156 and DS-156K to the interview, so I assume that it's not the P4? Do we need to wait for it to arrive before scheduling the interview? Based on American/Canadian's timeline, it looks like we should receive it sometime this week.

I have a question about how an interview date is obtained at the Montreal consulate.
Late last month, my fiancée and I filled out her Packet 3 forms and mailed them back to the Montreal consulate. In the past couple days, we both got identical letters, essentially "Thank you for your submission. Please bring forms DS-156 and DS-156K with you on the date of the interview." But there is no interview date on the letter.
Will an interview date be sent in a separate letter? Do we need to call and schedule the interview? I'm a little confused.

My fiancée and I are unclear on a few things, and were hoping someone on these forums might shed some light on some of these questions. She recently received her packet from the Montréal consulate.
On the DS-230 Part I, Question 35 states "List dates of all previous visits to or residence in the United States." She is a Canadian national who has visited the US more times than she can remember, and lived briefly in the US as a small child. Does this need to be an exhaustive list of visits, or can we mention the most recent visits and note this on a cover letter?
She has recently moved back in with her parents. Do we need to file a change of address with USCIS at this stage? Do we also need to notify the Montréal consulate? Her name is still on the lease at her old apartment, but she would prefer to receive any future notices at home.
The checklist she received lists "medical" as one of the items she should have in order to schedule an interview date. All the other information in the packet suggests that the medical exam should be scheduled after an interview date is made, and be scheduled soon before the interview. Am I correct in assuming that she should check off that item on the checklist, return the checklist and forms to schedule an interview date, and then schedule the medical exam once she has a date?
Her family doctor advised against receiving some of the vaccinations listed on the medical paperwork, due to her family medical history. Will a note from the family doctor excuse these vaccinations, or is she going to have to receive them prior to the medical exam?
Thanks

I thought registered mail would be reliable, and the postal worker told me it would be delivered by the 5th. Her deadline is the 17th. The post office was closed today, but I'll be calling them tomorrow.
