  1. one more note; each time my wife visited, when did go to the US Embassy to ask about our case; this was good because we signed in each time so that left a record of our inquiring.

  2. The absolute most important thing is to show that you and your spouse communicate regularly so that they can see you have a loving marriage.

  3. do keep in touch. We spent so much money on calling cards---over $3000. We had receipts of calling card purchase and phone records to show when the calls were made. We also printed our chats and emails; I took Western Union receipts, travel itineraries, and hotel receipts. I even put the pictures in a family photo album for a more personal touch, which I believe impressed the consular offi...

  4. Our case was sent to NVC in Aug 2009 and I didn't get my interview until Dec 2010. We called NVC every month at scheduling time and they kept saying the Embassy is backed-up. My wife came to Ghana 3 times and we took pics of everything we did. The best advice I can give you is to keep calling NVC and however long it takes them to schedule you, make sure you can show that you and your spouse...

  5. think that really helped... and with all the phone bills..i had 12months of phone bills with the corrisponding reciepts from the calling cards purchased..and i did mark out all the calls we made..every single one of them that got the ghanaian woman tht collects papers impressed..so every thing u can do to help no matter how small it is..anything tht u do together should be recorded

  6. think if any of u come visiting your spouse here in ghana u should take part in activities that goes on here.. with us my wife wanted to know how ghanaian foods are cooked so who was the best to learn from my family..my mom and sisters.. and i took lots of pics on every time she was with them cooking and had them all when i went for my intervview bout 200pics in all

  7. well they just asked if i hav bein married for a year n half which i said no tht it will be 2yrs in april... then asked where i met my wife.. i gave the answer and another when was the last time i saw my wife.. then he said everythin is alright so go get these things and bring them next week.

  11. okay fellows this is what i have to tell every1 tht ur case has being with NVC for more than a year..go get urself another police report to take with u..if not and u being in die need of it the Goddamn police will charge u like crazy for it.. i had to pay 100 cedis for it..God has being so good to my wife and i we cant thank him enough..ppl help us to thank him..HALLELUYA TO HIS HOLY NAME.
