  1. NOA2 to interview, for us, was about 2 months, but it can go much faster depending on how much pre-prep you do. You can schedule the interview within days of calling. Medical will take about a week to turn around.

  2. And the embassy had some technical issues with fingerprinting, but those were resolved. If I'm not mistaken, the Embassy is only available for interviews M-Th, before 2:PM, so plan accordingly. And Good luck!

  3. Hi Liz!

The interview is a breeze. My fiancée was asked basic questions about how we met and how we communicate, since I know primarily English and she Spanish. The consular records everything in his computer, so don't be intimidated by that. The interview was a breeze for her as I said, but be prepared to come back to pick up your visa, it isn't processed the same day.

  4. Jenny, good news! Our visa was approved! She'll pick it up on Monday. I don't have all the details of the interview yet, but it lasted only 5 minutes. I'll give you more details after I speak with my fiancée. Yay! tonight.

  5. Thanks guys! @MYH, yes we are already making plans for the wedding. A ceremonial wedding in her country in June, and the civil in the US shortly thereafter. We're making the ceremonial plans irregardless of what happens with the visa process, but I'd expect her to have the visa in hand by the end of May is my best guess.
