  1. Other members are right that 1 meeting is enough for USCIS, but the Embassy is required to try to differentiate if it’s a real relationship. You have enough but you both should do a letter of how you met, how much time you spent together, that you will get married and where, and that you love each other, keep one page and you must sign it. The fact is if your story is compelling it will move though the process easier and many times faster. In the letter point to anything that supports that you relationship, like the photos and your passport dates proving you where in the country. It is VERY RELEVANT that you spent 2 years together and USCIS should have that in their file so when it goes to US Embassy they will know that, too. Always make a full copy of everything you send. On photos that you do have put date of photo or approx like April 2010, names of people on photos, helps if there are family photos, what you where doing, where u where at.

  2. I was unable to read you entire read, yet if u really want to get results u might do this now.YOUR best bet is to contact you senator and congress man or woman and quicly lay out the story in an email, fax and letter, and then call. Statesmen have been able to move mountains in this area. aslo, you can use an attorney experianced in this, and might have grounds for suit.

God-speed to u and best wishes

  3. The US embassy manila says that the medical is good for 6 months, yet one of or friends we met at the Philippines CFO (Philippines required seminar to exit country) had a lung problem that showed on her Medical exam x-ray and had to have that problem in remission before being granted visa to USA. She took her required medicine for the 6 weeks and it was then clear but now they are telling her she needs a new exam and has to pay again for the exam because it’s older than three months.

Here is the link about 6 months http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3218.html, and here is the link for contacting is email or phone the Manila US Embassy, http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Philippines&cty=Manila

If you think your interview is within the next 3 months and will have no other problems I would get the Medical if not it can be done after the interview, but that delays things and creates extra steps.

    Bets of luck to you.

  4. I disagree. Please provide a link.

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3024.html, there you will find the following:

New DS-160 Online Visa Application Form Requirement Effective May 24, 2010

Effective May 24, 2010, all nonimmigrant visa applicants will be REQUIRED to complete and submit an online visa application form known as the DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application. The DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application will replace the current nonimmigrant visa paper application, Forms DS-156/157/158, and other related paper forms.

With demand for U.S. visas continuing to increase worldwide, the U.S. State Department is committed to using new technologies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the visa application process. The web-based nonimmigrant visa application uses new technologies and replaces existing forms to better serve our visa applicants.

For visa applicants with a visa interview scheduled before May 24, 2010, the DS-156/157/158 and related paper forms will continue to be accepted. Visa applicants with a visa interview scheduled on May 24, 2010, or after MUST complete the DS-160 Online Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application. As DS-157 forms will no longer be accepted after this date, the MRV fee payment slip (blue paper) from the bank must be attached to the DS-160 confirmation page when an applicant appears for a visa interview. Applicants can access the DS-160 from the Consular Electronic Application Center website or from the link on the U.S. Embassy website in Manila.

  5. You can also print out the email when they notify you see med exam, http://manila.usemba.../wwwh3218.html.

For all the questions and yours regarding your interview and setting it up, there are numbers to call form the US and Manila to do that and each call, of course cost money, see US Embassy manila http://manila.usemba...v/wwwh3238.html Also, it the email to them is NVCInquiry@state.gov for questions once you have an appoint case number with the embassy, just make sure you are real nice in all questions.

  7. Can the medical exam, in Manila is required t be a St Luke's Medical Center Extension, be taken prior to the National Visa Center Appointment Letter? My Fiancee lives in CEBU so it a flight to get to Manila to the only Authorized Medical Exam center. I was hoping to get that done prior to the National Visa Center Appointment Letter. The US Manila embassy site http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3218.html , says the exam is good for 6 months and also says to bring the letter or print out email sent by the National Visa Center. It says the Medical exam center will forward the results to the embassy.

I was hoping i could do the exam now. We are 2.5 months into the process, and i would have my finacee do this over the next 6 weeks whihc should put us about 1-2 months from the interview date, the average is about 5 months, and i had our package very fully prepared and reviewed.
