Our interview date is July 12,, just in time!

Congrats to all who have received an appointment once again! I got my plane tickets already and will be off to accompany my wife...

Ok, I take everything back I ever said about NVC and the Colombian Consulate! I just received our Appointment via email (Blackberry Rules!)....JULY 8th at 0700am!!! Now I gotta decide whether I should fly down or save the time off for when she's here!!!

** I am still in shock! Though the Embassy was closed today.....

* Stevehv, dont feel left out...I am also still waiting for an appointment, sux Colombia has sooo many holidays! Guess we still have to keep playing the waiting game.

As far as I understood there is no cut off date, it all boils down to how many people are up for appointments and how much the Embassy can actually handle in a given month... I am really hoping for a JULY date since I haven't seen my wife for over 4 months....Thank goodness for "skype". If we fail to get a date for July I will def have to fly down to see her....virtual presence doesn't compare to the real thing!

Well I call NVC again this morning, they are still scheduling appointments and unfortunately nothing yet for us. The NVC operator stated they will still be working on July appointments until Wed-Thurs(Jun 17,10) of next week so she advise I call back then..

yup I'm waiting too, case completed June 4th I hope we make a July interview. It would suck to have to wait another month

Well this makes me feel a little better, our case was completed April 30,2010 and still no Appointment....This waiting sux...

Can anyone please tell me how long does it usually take to get an interview appt at the Bogota Consulate...Our NVC docs were approved on April 30,2010 and I have called at least everyweek and they keep telling me they have no appointment confirmation as of yet!

Good Evening all,

So I called the automated number, and it said my case was completed. So I called and spoke to an agent, and they explained to me that they are awaiting for a an appointment date to be assigned in order to send the documentation to the Embassy. They stated I will receive an email. It's been a week, I would like to know if there is anything I can do to be proactive. Any response will be greatly appreciated.

"Chilltown_JC" Any word on your appt date? My case was completed at NVC back in April 30,2010 and still no appointment from Embassy! This waiting game sux
