Met online playing world of warcraft in 2006.....many emails and phone calls later:
First visit August 2006 Kirk flew to Oregon to meet me.....was wonderful.
Since then we have had many flights back and forth, more phone calls than we can count and have become part of each other's lives even with the distance.
We were engaged november of 2008 and began looking into our options as far as immigration.
Birth of our child Ryan put a kink into the plan and we held off for Kirk to take advantage of Canada's wonderful parental leave....he spent 3 months in the states after baby's birth, home to canada for 3 months, and 6 wonderful months back in the states with us.
We are done with the long distance, ready to be a family, and sure that we can make it work.
