Congrats guys! I just got my Visa like 15 minutes ago, im so happy! Be flying in 2 days

Philippine law prescribes a ten-day waiting period from the filing of the application to the issuance of the marriage license. So if u get ur Legal capacity of Marriage on january 19th and u can apply marriage license at the city hall the same day u can then marry on the 29th. If ur flight is going to be in the afternoon or night of 29th ur problem is solved. If u can, rebook ur flight back to US on the next day or 29th night..

Okay wife got VISA delivered by 2GO today at 1030am.

Bad part is that she is now at doctors because she has been feeling ill all day. Looks like she has the mumps by what I see from swelling of face.

Hope she will be better by the time we fly, Looks like no celebrating receiving visa today.

Personal update: I now have an interview date: January 6th, 2011.

I heard some of the people who had their interview already at the US Embassy Manila that they required CEMAR or Certificate of Marriage/s (for married people only) from the Naional Statistics Office (NSO). Now my question is , Is the CEMAR has validity? cuz i got mine last October 2010. I wonder if the Consulate wants a latest CEMAR date like if your interview date is going to be January 2011, your CEMAR shoud be dated as December 2010 or January 2010 also?

No appointment needed. I had my medical before i got my SIF, just need to bring ur passport, 3 pcs visa pictures and the Notice from NVC with ur NVC Case Number or NOA2 receipt (hubby emailed it to me and scanned then printed it out). Make sure u eat before u go there cuz foods not allowed to bring inside. U might want to bring a sweater or jacket also theres part in the building thats really cold.

i had my medical done last week, and i passed, i have 3 tattoos, one is like 10 inches big. the doctor just asked me what they were, i.e. name, symbol, etc. so don't worry.

im going to call US embassy in the morning. Thank u guys for ur reply, appreciate it much!
