  1. Hi again. As far as tracking through the USCIS i was never able to do that. I always kept getting wrong number message from the site. Don't freak out i think this happens alot. I was finally able to track it after they approved my petition. How silly is that huh... Just hang in there I know exactly how you feel, We have been trying this for 3 years. What took us so long was the whole anullment thingee there. Gosh what a pain !!!! But my bags are packed and I am heading over there to be with my lovely wife to be for her interview next thursday, I or she will post the Q&A from it. She is alittle nervous but I keep reassuring her that it will be ok. remember just be honest with your answers on the forms from the embassy

start remembering every detail about your fiancee where he works whats his parents names and such. Just please be patient. I know its easier said than done..hehehe

    Hang in there friend.

  2. Just be patient this is the longest part. It will seem like forever but once you get your NOA 2 wait 10 days and start calling the NVC it will be there for a couple of weeks. Once they send your packet to manila then go ahead and pay your fees and get your receit from the BPI. then file your online stuff and get a interview date once you have that you can go ahead and get your physcial. Make the appointmant online at St Lukes before you go there. It will save you a bunch of time. Good luck..It truly is a journey

  3. This question goes out to all the Philippine interviewers. And their experences,After the interview how long does it take on the average to get your passport back, And is there a quicker way in getting it once you have been approved? I am just wondering if we can pick it up at the embassy or we have to use the courier?

  4. Just make sure all your forms are filled out. and signed, make sure your pic's are time stamped or with the time and date on the back of the photo. have your passport copied all pages and sent in. copies of airline tickets and hotel stubs. copies of snail mail letters with the postmark i would send. and maybe a few chat conversations i would send. thats basically all i sent and i had no RFE's good luck.

ps.. one more thing about your forms....

    recheck recheck recheck everything

  5. Is there any update on this situation? Or any more information? My fiancee and I are in the same situation and this really brings hope to us if we can begin the visa process as soon as the court makes it's decision.

Yes we filed for our K1 visa in sept 11 We have had our NOA2 since Jan 6 Our case is at the NVC waiting to be sent to Manila. We filed our case as soon as she got her finality. And it was recorded at the NSO. As soon as your annullment gets recorded at the NSO I would file. Good luck with your journey. Just make sure that you send plenty of evidence of meeting.

  6. We were never able to check our status online until they approved our petition... when I asked about this to USCIS they told me that they do their best to update the online checks but due to the priority of looking and approving the cases it takes back seat so they don't always get everyone's status updated. You can call USCIS and speak to an operator instead...

    Thank you

  7. we just got finished with my fiancee annulment. It can be done with the right atty. We started it in May 09 and finished Sept 1 2011. Just need a lawyer. Her husband doesn't have to be there. And it cost us 250.000 pesos. So expect to come off some cash. Its not cheap, Be very aware of lawyers there too. Most will try to scam you, Some do have somewhat of a soul. Those are the ones who will cost you.

  8. I have been there 5 times since we met over the course of almost 3 years. We have doing the annullment process for 2 1/2 years. She has got her finality document of the annullment today. Can I file for her K1 Visa before she gets her decree? I am sure she will have her annullment decree before her interview. The way i understand it the court will send the finality to her LCR where she got married and the LCR where her anullment was conducted and then the NSO. But can I apply now for the K1 or do I have to wait till its registered with the LCR's and the NSO. Gosh I hope I can because the wheels of freedom there turn really slow and the mail system is the same. Any help please
