Got RFE Checklist missing ppc after signed in failed and case completed stated by avr and operator at nvc...dont knw wht to do? need some help plzz

I am so frustrated!!! and mad!!! Just got of the phone with OLIVIA, she tells me that my documents are not in review that they were entered in the system on the 24th blah blah blah!!! OK so I called yesterday and the other person I spoke with told me my documents were in review!! So which is it???!!!

Can it be that my document have not even been looked at? I guess I will have to make another call and hope someone can give me a straight answer... She just kept repeating that they have 6-8 weeks to look at my documents... ok now I'm sad and confused:wacko:

I asked my husband about the Passport PCC and he said that if the passport is issued new and it is not more than 6 months (during the time of your visa process) than you don't need a passport PCC just need a local PCC.

P.S. Do double check on this matter before you take any final decision...

If your passport is newly issued you will not require a local pcc.

Just take the cover sheet and you will get the passport certificate.Do not wait for the RFE to get that.

o ok i will tell her to go on monday with IV packet recipet and Coversheet sheet tht i printed off dor iV packet from nvc wwebsite is tht all she need to take wid her

You dont need the local PCC since your wife just had her passport issued in your name.

Just go get the Passport PCC and you will be fine.

i think you need local pcc to get passport pcc though thats the problem

You can tell your wife to take the document coversheet of AOS bill or DS-230 bill and they will give her the Passport clearance certificate easily within 4 working days.

Also make sure that your wife's passport has your name added in it.

she tried 5 times to get her local pcc... she went wid all this documents the guy was like i want checklist i dont wanna see any other papers guess i will jst need to wait for RFE

When did she get her new passport? It needs to be issued within 6 months of her INTERVIEW date. Otherwise you need the local and regional PCC.

Wife is from Anand. You will need to do a lot of convincing to get the PCC.

Only way you have a fighting chance is to show them that you paid the IV bill. Print out that and the cover letter when you get to that part of NVC.

My wife recently did this at the local anand station and they still gave her hell about it. BUT in the end she was able to get it after arguing and paying 1200 rupees. She will try to get the passport PCC next week.

Otherwise you have to wait for NVC to issue you a RFE/checklist after sending in your DS230 forms. Then you can easily get the PCC from both. This adds time to the overall process though. Its best if possible to get the PCC before submitting the DS230.

My VJTimeline predictor said my file have been approved between June 16, 2010 and June 21, 2010 it has passed tht date. Any suggestion guys ?
