    @ Lit..as what we have experienced..here in US embassy Manila, the waiting for interview isn't that long..as soon as the petitioner got a letter from NVC stating that they forwarded the petition to Manila US embassy with the Manila CAse#, given a week after receiving the letter, usually, the petitioner can already schedule her fiancee for an interview appointment..
