      Hi Mel, I didn't do ROC, I had a 10 year card, but I don't think you need a passport, you can take your expired one along if want to. You won't get an American passport until you are a citizen, which will only be next year :D Hope you guys are well :)

    Yesterday I became a US Citizen and today I have my US Passport in hand, I couldn't be happier :)

    We are the happiest we ever have been!! We welcomed our baby girl Elba Jane van Hattem into our lives back on Dec 17, 2011. She is such a blessing, we couldnt ask for more.

    Now in contact with Congressmans Office. USCIS told me today that nothing has been done with my application, there has been no processing of the paperwork and no notice on the paperwork saying it is expedited. So wait now to see what th.e Congressmans office can do

      We're asking them to help, as nothing has been done with our packet since they received it almost a month ago. One of our friends told her to contact him as she went through something very similar. So now we just wait and see if they can do anything. They didn't even recognize it as Expedited or that my fingerprints were with the packet. Useless

    Where do I get this redbook for Naturalization, I've already done my fingerprints so can't get the book at Bio App, any suggestions??

      You're lucky you get to get the book, I won't get that at all. No my journey is far from over, I can't get any updates on my case either on the phone or online, I'm going to call today and if I can't get any news on it I am going to my Congressman, oh the joys!

      I don't, I think they are, someone was asked what state has the highest population and I was like wait, thats not in the flash cards online. Yes my fingerprints were done and sent with my N400 packet. Whats happening with you?

    EAD and AP came in today's mail :) 4 days to AOS inerview

      Don't forget to take them to your interview as they will take them off you when your GC is approved ;-)

    Woo hoo! Just got EAD approval/card production email. 12 days to AOS interview!

      I did, I took the originals and photocopies and split them in to two in the file I took, compartmentalized them as Insurance Original, Insurance Copy, that sort of thing. It actually shows the IO that you are organized and saves them time copying things too.
