Have you called USCIS and asked for two tier person? Glad you your fingerprints done at least. Things are good our end. Are you going to go for citizenship next year? Keep in touch

Mel, hi, you won't get a US passport until you are a citizen, as I didn't do lifting of conditions I don't know about needing a passport, but I am sure taking your expired passport along will be fine. Good Luck

I don't think my new status will sink in until I travel tomorrow, I'll use my American passport for the first time, but I will feel naked without my GC hehehe

Yesterday I became a US Citizen and today I have my US Passport in hand, I couldn't be happier

Nothing new here, how about with you, any progress on your n-400 app?

So in a month they have managed to lose my n400 application, to giving me a receipt number that doesn't work to denying me expedited naturalization because being away for 3 - 5 years isn't serious enough. Now there is a chance I could lose my GC because we will be away so long and I'll have to file for my GC all over again and then wait another lifetime for naturalization. To say I am little pissed off and disappointed is a complete understatement.

Called USCIS again today, yes I call all the time, but anyways called them again and finally got somone decent. She has put in an Expedite Request for me and said she can't understand why nothing has been done with it, its a month since they received it. Anyways lets see what happens now, wish me lucky

Now in contact with Congressmans Office. USCIS told me today that nothing has been done with my application, there has been no processing of the paperwork and no notice on the paperwork saying it is expedited. So wait now to see what th.e Congressmans office can do

Where do I get this redbook for Naturalization, I've already done my fingerprints so can't get the book at Bio App, any suggestions??

I would join your thread, but I'm going for expedited naturalization. I tell you though, I forgot how bad this waiting thing is, I hate it, agh
