My Package was signed for yesterday.

Hi DamienJane. Have you heard anyting yet? I have a post on July 17, 2010 in this forum asking for help or information as I am in same situtaion as you, VSC recieved my I-129F on June 21, 2010 and nothing since, no NOA and no check cashed. Gee what is going on at VSC?

ahh we got the package back from vermont on Friday, my baby ommitted a few things, really sucks but hes rectified a few errors and we sent the package tonight so I am now sadly a July filler. Thanks everyone who helped and good luck Juners.

Can you ask Damien to call them back again and check the issue with the payment, cause you two needs to know so, you can find out

what exactly you can do...

ahh May we got the package back and had to resend it. So sad but hopefully all is in order now. Any news on your NOA2?

Congrats to all June fillers....I think there must be something wrong with our payment but nothing from here...I need to wait 30-45 days before enquiring.

Ladies I just called again managed to get to second tier operator but she can only disclose information about the case to the us citizen, he needs to call or give authorisation but hes working at the moment and hes called several times and they told him were not even on the system and that the cheque might be on hold.

Well I just called and I am unable to get any info as the petitioner is only allowed to enquire.

yes we all waiting...we sent our package on the 19 June our check was cashed on the 22 June... still nothing.

WAAAHOOO! 16 days after check cashed.. Finally got our NAO1 from Texas.... took awhile but, finally got here... Take heart guys.. it will get there soon!

Thanks for the update phlpro and congrats.. with recent approvals going by so quickly hopefully you'll get your NOA2 in no time.... Im still awaiting the NOA1.

Damien, it'll probably come within a few days. Did you see an EAC..... number on the back of the check image on your bank's website? Sometimes they'll put it there, sometimes they won't. They didn't on mine. You can probably call the Misinformation Line and ask for your case number. They were able to give me mine over the phone two days after they sent the check in (2 days before it hit my bank). Be prepared, they'll ask you if it's been 30 days since you sent it in (they have no way of knowing on the phone when you mailed it). And since you don't have the number yourself yet, they'll have to transfer you to someone in a higher dept to give it to you. I didn't spend long on hold at all though, so you should be able to get it pretty quick.

Damien just called the service centre and they dont have us on the computer system. We sent it on the 19th and the cheque was cashed on the 22th how can we not be on the computer system and they have taken our money.

OMG Dodi fantastic news..congrats..please keep us informed with your progress as we are going to be using the same consulate.

Yours at least you should feel at ease! bec you know your check was cashed, one way or another you will get your NOA1. Unlike our situation, been week and a half-- our check is not yet cleared and we don' t know when they will do it and how long we should wait after clearing it. Haist! getting NOA1 will at least gives you an idea wether they're processing your papers already and will make you feel somewhat relax knowing they'r working on it.. than not getting any notice-- and keep guessing. true?

Have you tried to call them? a previous poster said she called them and she managed to get a case number. My baby hasnt called yet he keeps saying its going to happen just be patient we will get the notifications and it will be sooner then you think, I guess I am just a stress case and have no patients lol

one week almost over-- guess we gotta wait next week then-- must be the delay with the 4th of July! other recieved NOA1 two days after-- most of them I meant..

what could be the other reason for delays?

I am not sure I have been so stressed about not getting the NOA1, our check has been cashed so were going to get a copy of it. I do hope we get approved as quickily as Melgar.

Approved yesterday by USCIS!!!! 21 Days from NOA1 date!!!! I got an email and sms at 6 am today! I saw that it had been "touched" yesterday and was hoping that it was being approved...and sure enough!!! But I think my packet stayed in Tx. Not enough time to go back and forth. But seems going to Tx expeditited the whole process!!! They took a long time to cash my check and send NOA1 too, this is not indicative of how quickly they are working!!!!...so don't worry!!! Good luck to all of you still waiting! I am still in shock!!!!

We sent out June 23 and was recieved June 24. The check haven't been cashed out yet. I hope we get NOA1 soon before the 4th of July or else everyone will be busy.

We got out NOA1, still waiting for the NOA2, but we got "touched" on June 7th...

Please dont freak out. I never received my NOA1 and alot of people dont. I got my email with the NOA2 approved last night so if your check is cashed and you can see the EAC # on the back of your check, its all good!

Thank you muñequita I think I do need to calm down I am stressing so much I am taking it out on my baby, and its upsetting him aswell. I asked him to get a copy of the check from his bank and he said its going to take 5 days for that to come through.
