I appreciate everyone for the well-wishes. Unfortunately, our CO was the Asian-lady. So, our case is in Administrative Processing until further notice. I have decided to wait it out in Nigeria as I had traveled down to accompany them. I have sought help from a senator and congressman in my constituency. I will keep you posted as the situation unfolds.

For the interview, I have sent a copy of the email they sent me where they mentioned the interview date. I will also hand her a copy of the approval notice from NVC. I believe the most important information to have is just the interview date. All other documents can be obtained online. DS160 is not for K1. Use DS156/156K. All the best.

patient2010 is right. I don't quite understand how the Embassy in Nigeria operates. In my case, I had to email them to get my fiancee's interview date. The email response looks automated. I told my fiancee to download the packets off their website. She used the forms in the downloaded packet to obtain her police report and her medical exam.
