It took 15 days for ours which is NOT normal. It was due to a spelling error on the original Visa. The original was issued 3 days after the appointment but the seond was issued a week later and it was ready at Domex Santiago the next Wednesday.

thanks for the info. we recieved it on Friday afternoon!!3 days after the appointment was still good. I'm just glad it's over with. How is your SO adjusting to DC? I'd like to maybe meet up with you all and meet since you all are in D.C. if that's ok. We are probably going to do Lauriol Plaza..Have you ever been there?

RGCV if you didn't get the packet, how did you get the physical before going to the consulate interview?

I called the mexico line 2 weeks before the cita and got an appointment for my SO to pick up the packet at window 27. She stayed with her older sister and went the next morning to get her medical done. Not sure why or what papers you had sent to the US.

Hey guys...I put in my 129F in February and got the NOA2 in May...still waiting for the date. The number at the Department of State is the best way to go to check status because its free. Calling the DR embassy will cost you $8 a call and DOS will give you the same information. I'm still waiting for a date for the appointment too. Good luck guys...This website has been so wonderful on getting information. I wish you guys the best!

Yes you are right that is the best number to call... That is how I found out about my interview date. Good luck!
