    Just back from a lovely vacation with my beautiful husband...our first U.S. vacation together :) Went to Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina...loving this life! :)

    Interview is tomorrow morning at 7:45 am (Denver time). We are ready but have to admit i am a bit nervous (for no reason)

      Sounds like you had a great interview :-) Lucky they made copies for you, in Norfolk there is a sign on the wall to make sure you had copies of all originals. Check the USCIS site to see if there is any change. My green card came a week after my interview.

    RFE for I-485, does this mean AE & AP at standstill too?

      Your 765 and 131 your EAD and AP. They will come on one card. Not sure why the RFE is holding up your I-765 since the I-864 was sent with the I-485. I wouldn't say it is any reason for concern. The I-131 is just for travel out of the US so what he makes would have no bearing on it.

      No, your EAD and AP are processed without the I-485. Have you checked your case status on the USCIS site?

    Case now says "Decision" Online... but no indication of what that decision is. Hopefully we'll get good news shortly.

If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happiest dance everrrrrr. AOS approved without interview!!!!!! Yes, I am happy!

    Felt like AOS interview went well, but she said she hadn't reviewed our file beforehand and couldn't make a decision at this time... Apparently we'll hear within 30 days :\

      I'm sure it went well too. I am surprised she didn't go over your file. The interviewer we had seemed to know ours like the back of her hand. I bet in the next day or so you will see a change on the USCIS site saying approved and card in production.

    Got a notice of case being transferred yesterday. Hopefully to CSC.

      I hope it was to a local office. CSC is way behind, having the interview is so much faster. I have friends that filed before me and theirs was sent to CSC, they are still waiting. I had my interview in Dec and got green card a week later :-)

      I agree! I am so tired of reading rude or quick comments from one person but not going to mention any names. People that are done or further along in the process have to remember how they felt when they were in the situations that the others are in that are looking for answers.

    Wondering how long it takes between NOAs and biometrics appointment letter ... unfortunately biometrics will be three hours away in Milwaukee.

      We went to Alexandria for our biometrics and Norfolk for the interview. Did you try the local office locator? I just waited until I got the appointment letter then I knew for sure. But I figured mine would be Norfolk because someone else I know in this area had to go there too. I hope you can skip that part. Start putting together some things with both names on it just in case :-)
